Analysis and Proposal for an Improvement of the Production Process

This thesis deals with the flow of orders in Araplast s.r.o, a road sign-manufacturing company. First part of the thesis is theoretical and explains the basic principles of production. Second part deals with practical aspects – detection of problems in the manufacturing process based on analysis of the current situation. On this basis, I propose my own solution to improve and streamline production. Finally, I confront the current situation with proposed solution and evaluate contribution of the solution.

The topic of the diploma thesis Project Financing from EU Funds is the characteristics of the issue of raising funds for local projects funded from the European Union. Its aim is to propose a realistic project, which is applicable to use the resources from the funds of the European Union for its co-financing.

This thesis suggests a business plan for further progress of an existing company. It is looking at opportunities in already operating branch. It is trying to suggest a project which would lead to better profitability, expanditure and stabilizing of current market share and also strengthen the company name. The thesis is based on preconditions of the company which is experienced in its branch and for a long time has been defending its position on the market. The aim of my thesis therefore is, on the base of an analysis, to propose such a project, where previous results and expreiences are going to be used, to make competitiveness and further progress of the company better.

In the practical part of the feasibility study is designed public project model and its alternative financing option by the grant program of the European Union.

This bachelor thesis designs a business plan for expanding the business activities of self-employed person. In the introduction it describes theoretical knowledge. Afterwards it analyzes current situation of a specific business subject and it proposes several options for funding of an engineering workshop and evaluates the effectiveness of each option for possible investment. In the end the thesis recommends the most profitable solution.

Construction Project Organization

The object of this thesis is construction project organization. The teoretical part of this thesis is conducted to explain basic concepts of project management. The practical part deals with project management of a construction which is financed from public sources. It concentrates on individual steps to finish the project successfuly. The issue is showed on a real project, where the municipality is an investor. It solves a two-stage reconstruction of a basic school to a care home.
