Internet auction as a new way of trading arts

This bachelors thesis is describing and dealing with the internet auctions on the Czech art market. It researches the current and recent sales of internet auctions and puts them in a contrast with ordinary hall auctions. The theoretical part is devoted to the introduction of basic concepts related with the whole topic. There are described the ordinary auction houses and auctions in general as well as the legislation concerning the whole topic. The practical part is later devoted especially to internet auction houses and to internet auctions in general. The sales of chosen auction houses are analyzed and later also compared all together. The outcomes of this thesis are at first the analysis of internet auctions on the Czech art market and also the proposals for the sales improvement in internet auctions.

Internet Auction and its Legal Aspects

This work is focused on analyzing of internet auctions. The thesis is divided into two major parts. The first part deals with introduction to auctions including definition, historical overview and description of the most used types. The second part is focused on the relation of the internet auctions to different branches of law. The aim of this thesis is to give a comprehensive overview about the internet auctions, especially in the Czech Republic, mainly from the law-related perspective. It should offer the basic facts about this issue and possible solutions for improvement of legal regulation of this process of buying and selling goods or services.

Trust and reputation system on Internet Auctions

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část poskytuje průřez aktuálního stavu řešení problematiky internetových aukcí a jeho bezpečnosti. Vysvětlením základních pojmů, principů jednotlivých aukcí, vymezení možných rizik plynoucích z tohoto druhu obchodování a nastínění složitosti vztahů mezi prodávajícím a kupujícím. Praktická část je zaměřena na výzkum, jehož hlavním cílem bylo bylo zhodnotit reputační systémy online aukcí, které využívají čeští uživatelé.
