Socio-economic analysis of administrative districts of Prague

Socio-economic analysis of administrative districts of Prague, namely Prague 1-22, is carried out by MasterCard method, an aggregate index, created from defined indicators of social and economic areas. Indicators are given a specific weight. The aim of the analysis and of the whole work is to find out which administrative districts of the capital Prague benefit from the biggest socio-economic development, which is because of availability and comparability of data analyzed for the years 2008 and 2012.
Migration of the population in the region of the municipality with extended kompetence (ORP) České Budějovice

The presented thesis deals with the analysis of the development of volume, intensity, dynamics and structure of internal migration of the population in the administrative district of the municipality with extended kompetence (ORP) České Budějovice. The evaluation takes place in the context of development of South Bohemia, the Czech Republic, with the availability of similar data for the municipalities during the years of 1992 to 2009. The previous and current development of the area has been outlined in the work. The work thus provides the essential balance evaluation, directional and structural indicators of the migration.
The internal migration of university graduates in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the internal migration of university graduates in the Czech Republic in terms of identifying major migration trends and inter-regional differences in this subject-matter area. The available statistical data for the period from 1991 to 2004 and the survey itself for predicting future trends represent the main sources of data in this thesis. The thesis uses the comparative method, simple analogy method and descriptive method. The theoretical part defines the basic terms and characteristics relating to migration and also describes the indicators used for the analysing the subject. The practical part focuses on analysing internal migration of university graduates at the regional level in the Czech Republic. The analysis is performed primarily on the basis of net migration, efficiency index of migration stream and preference index of migration stream. The conclusion identifies major migration trends, ensuing inter-regional differences, major causes of migration of university graduates and also outlines the future development in this area.

Process of migration has been recently an essential part of population changes. There are certain areas where the migration has significant impact on population size. Moving within the frontiers (internal migration) makes major part of migration turnover in Czech Republic while moving between countries (external migration) has lesser effect. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of internal migration of population of Czech Republic between years 2001 and 2009. The thesis focuses on the general development of migration process in the state territory during this time and also explores migration flows between regions and districts, especially in the relation to the capital city. One section is dedicated to the suburbanization and the trends related to this process in the Czech Republic.
Internal Migration in the Czech Republic

This work explains the prevailing trends of internal migration in the Czech Republic, which have a major impact on the population and the overall development of individual regions. In the analysis of some key phenomena of internal migration, there have been formulated and tested four hypotheses, which were supplemented by more detailed analysis of population data. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that in the Czech Republic: (1) dominated internal migration from rural to urban than in the opposite direction, which means that they are manifested desurbanization processes; (2) total internal migration before 1989 was different than after this year; (3) are not all regions equally attractive to migrants; (4) internal migration does not meet certain defined conditions of the selectivity of migration.
Internal migration in Moravian-Silesian region in 1995 - 2005

Bachelor thesis describes trends of internal migration in Moravian-Silesian region in years 1995-2005 and identifies causes of single development trends. Thesis introduces theoretical problems related to analysis of internal migration, including description of approaches to internal migration analysis. Consequently, selected migration indicators are described, including calculation, strengths and weaknesses of indicators. Starting point of analysis is description of internal migration related characteristics of all cantons of Moravian-Silesian region. Analysis continues with calculation of internal migration indicators for all cantons. Calculated indicators are used to evaluate internal migration trends. In bachelor thesis conclusion position of all single cantons in Moravian-Silesian region is evaluated, including definition of problematic cantons.

It is definated from different sights, with eyes of experts. Then the reasons are described, the possibilities of its investigation are outlined, and reasons, which come up from this, too. In the other part the analysis is implemented. First analysis of internal migration in Czech Republic, where its size and different characteristics are monitored. The third part of thesis is dedicated to internal migration in Central -- Bohemian Area, which was chosen as specifically. Trends and determinations are uncovered, and its causes and connections are found.
