Social Work with Clients of Educational Care Center Who Ended Their Boarding Stay

The work deals with social work with clients of the educational care center, who ended their boarding stay there. It characterizes activities of the system of social and legal protection of children, the role, and the scope of work of the curator. It focuses on educational care center, describes forms of the care provided and procedure of ending stay at the educational care center. At the same time, it pays attention to the care of clients after the end of the boarding stay at the education care center in the competence of the system of social and legal protection of children and describes, how the system cooperates with accompanying organizations after the end of the client's boarding stay. Part of the bachelor thesis are case studies, which demonstrate possibilities of intervention of the system of social and legal protection of children for clients, who completed the stay at the educational care center and for who are additional support and help needed

This thesis deals with the point system of the Center for Educational Care in Pilsen. Describes this facility, possible causes of placement of children for boarding stay. It focuses in more detail on the activities of the entire team of experts of a particular facility, describes their role in the whole process, presents a daily program of educational groups. The practical part is designed as a qualitative research survey. In the form of case studies and interviews with clients and employees of the Center for Educational Care Pilsen, it analyzes the point system of the facility.

Analysis methods of work at a boarding form of preventive educational care

This master thesis deals with the importance of preventive educational care where educational care centres belong. More specifically the thesis is focused on Educational Care Centre in Domažlice. The theoretical part characterizes the principle of stay in hall of residence and mainly the methods and forms of work which are used during working with clients. Furthermore, it describes the cooperation with other subjects and organizations which the educational care centre cooperates with and in this way supports the client to improve his/her behaviour. For the practical part, the qualitative research was chosen with the usage of designs of case study and especially the methods of grounded theory. The research was focused on the influence of the methods and forms of work on the change, reducing or eliminating already developed behaviour disorders. The influence is evaluated from the clients and their parents' perspective. On the grounds of the research the responses on the research questions are formulated at the end of the thesis.
