Furthermore, all the key equipment used for the waste gases treatment or for the utilization of waste heat was identified. In the main part of the thesis there are performed modifications of the existing unit including the technology of existing heat exchangers intensification, the design of new and more efficient heat exchangers and finally the catalytic oxidation technology implementation for the decomposition of pollutants contained in the waste gas. The result of the thesis is a technical, economic and ecological comparison of the proposed technological modifications with the existing operation.
Possibilities of technical implementation of intensification the constructed treatment wetland
Suchánek, Pavel ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (referee) ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (advisor)
The Bachelors thesis is a study of three variants of solution of reconstruction and intensification of specific constructed wetland. Request for reconstruction of existing cleaner facility arose from an observer, who demanded increasing of cleaning efficiency because of expected changes on sewer. The introductory part deals with a theoretical summary of expert knowledge and information, which are responsible for familiarization with problematics of constructed wetland. Just the information about reconstructions of others constructed wetlands could be essential for solving this thesis. Based on the results of the progress and effectiveness of the proposed changes, it is possible to be inspired for further solutions. Practical part of thesis is a separate study, within which were proposed three variants of solution. Variants differ in economic and technical difficulty and are linked to each other. The first one is the least difficult option and serves only for maintain temporary state. The second variant includes complex reconstruction of the object using a vertical filter and ensures effective removal of observed pollution parameters (Suspended solids, COD, BOD, N-NH4+). The third option, economically and technologically the most demanding, should moreover chemically precipitate phosphorus. For clarity of the proposal were all variants compiled in 3D model. The aim of thesis was to elaborate several variants of solution of reconstruction and intensification of existing constructed wetland Biskoupky so that the operator can choose the one that suits him at most, taking into account the investment aspect.
Intensification of wastewater treatment plants
Kudrnová, Eliška ; Žeravíková, Jana (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the intensification of wastewater treatment plants, which includes improving and strengthening of performance of existing treatment units. The introduction briefly discusses the ways of discharging wastewater from agglomerations, their influence on the WWTP and types of WWTP currently used. The following are the conditions for wastewater treatment, discharging wastewater and waste water management according to law and the factors influencing the intensification of wastewater treatment plants. The main content of this thesis is focused primarily on WWTPs with a capacity greater than 2,000 pe, which had until the end of 2010 meet the requirements of Council Directive 91/271/EEC to be equipped with an appropriate degree of secondary treatment. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of WWTP constructed, reconstructed and intensified between 2008 and 2010.
Zhodnocení provozu čistírny odpadních vod Březina
Pleskačová, Klára
This bachelor thesis evaluates functioning of the wastewater treatment plant in the villa-ge of Březina. In the theoretical part it focuses on legislation that affects operation of wastewater treatment plants, including selected definitions, as well as a description of the technologies of the most commonly used types of wastewater treatment plants in the Czech Republic – the mechanical-biological ones. The practical part deals with specifi-cities of the selected wastewater treatment plant, it describes in detail it’s technical structure and uses graphical summaries of average values from years 2015-2018 to eva-luate it’s effectiveness. It further summarizes the sludge production during the monito-red years. Based on the acquired knowledge the author will formulate some impro-vement suggestions, taking under consideration the current legislation and economical and technical feasibility.
Návrh úpravy technologie a zařízení čistírny odpadních vod v obci Dyjákovičky
Adam, Rostislav
The main aim of the thesis is to propose or initiate how the technology of sewage treatment in village Dyjákovičky can be modified or upgraded. Special attention is paid to the legislative aspects and the efficiency and conditions of treated wastewater (effluent) that goes back to the recipient. Integral part of the thesis is classification of types of wastewaters and most frequent technologies used for wastewater treatment in small or medium size wastewater treatment plants using specific methods of mechanical pretreatment and biological processes. The technology equipment used in Dyjákovičky is described into details. In response to main aim of the thesis, the actual state of the equipment as well as the state of the whole wastewater plant are assessed in order to identify the main risks and threats. Identification of risks and threats also reflects the presumed demographic and legislative development of implementation of technological and operational measures to improve the parameters of treated water into the recipient.

Population densities and habitat preference granivorous birds (\kur{Passer domesticus, Passer montanus, Streptopelia decaocto}) in human settlements.
BANDHAUEROVÁ, Jaroslava
The most often mentioned causes of decrease in a number of granivoric synantropic birds are primarily changes in agriculture (liquidation of factory farming, using of pesticides, effective methods of harvest, consequences of intensification of agriculture) and changes in socioeconomical status of population (higher care of public green, decrease in numbers of small poultry farms, modernization of buildings etc.), which results in lack of food and opportunity to nest. Goal of this work is primarily evaluate an influence of the agricultural methohds on numbers of the house sparrow (Passer domesticus), tree sparrow (Passer montanus) and collared dove (Streptopelia decaocto) set a preference of habitats for selected species, addiction of their occurence on presence of small poultry farms and factory farming and compare the results with winter monitoring. Then evaluate preferences of nest habitats for house sparrow (Passer domesticus) and tree sparrow (Passer montanus). Monitoring was made in 48 chosen locations in the Czech Republic (most of those locations in South Bohemia) during the nesting period (February May) in years 2015 2016. The data evaluation was made through computer software Microsoft Excel and R v. 2.8.1 (2008). The research shows that factory farming has essentional influence on occurence of all three selected species and difference in occurence between winter and the nesting period is demonstrable. Also the difference in presence of collared dove and house sparrow is demonstrable near factory farms.
Role intenzifikačních faktorů při rozvoji zemědělství v Nikaragui, Keni a Myanmaru
Kubát, Patrik
This bachelor aimed to identify the dependency of gross agricultural production in selected intensification factors. To achieve the objective has been selected multiple regression analysis. Intensification factors were: fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, capital, agricultural tractors, livestock and energy use in agriculture. The analysis was performed in three countries: Myanmar, Kenya and Nicaragua. These countries belong to the lower-middle income group according to the categorization of the World Bank and they are also located in the same climate. They vary with geographic location and the share of agriculture in GDP. The same climatic belt, however, a different continent, and the same categorization of income group but various share of agriculture in GDP could lead to the use of different intensification factors that are involved in the agricultural production.
