Žalmánek, Matěj ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the user-friendliness of the schedules and related components of the BUT information system with the aim of identifying poorly user-friendly components and op- timizing and improving their user-friendliness. First, I located problematic components and these further became the impetus for the questionnaire survey. Based on this question- naire survey, I made a design for a new user interface, which I then implemented and tested with users. In this work, I was able to create a number of new user interface features that make it easier for users to work with the schedules. The benefits of this work include better subjective evaluation of schedules by users, including a reduction in the time to perform certain tasks with schedules.

Study Information Systems at Selected Universities – Comparison from the Student Perspective
Rajčan, Aleš ; Benáčanová, Helena (advisor) ; Říha, Jan (referee)
This Bachelor Thesis concerns the comparison of study information systems at selected universities and colleges. The system analysis processing and subsequent comparison are made from a student's point of view. The aim of the Thesis is to find out in which way the particular information systems can solve problems connected with administration and control of students' duties. The analysed systems are compared and evaluated on the basis of the author's opinions as well as the opinions of the survey responders. The results of the systems evaluation are used to formulate recommendations for the functionality of the University of Economics system. The Thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with the systems analysis where the individual functions are examined and mutually compared. The analysis is effectuated according to selected criterions (basic functions, communication functions, user interface). The second part of the Thesis focuses on a survey which contains opinions of students from all the participating schools. Final results of the comparison are presented both verbally and graphically.
