Narrow-band PLC modem
Skala, Milan ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with narrow band PLC modem for 230/400 V power line. In the first chapter we can find basic theory about using modulation, interference, impedance of line, communication, capacitive and inductive coupler. Next chapter deals with design and simulation of capacitive coupler, transceiver circuit, receiver circuit, power supply and circuit for modem synchronization with power line frequency. In this chapter we can find information about building a converter from UART to USB. Third chapter of this thesis is dedicated to designing the printed circuit board and building the modem. Last chapter deals with setting the modem switches, description of its inputs and outputs and basic manual for the modem's software.
Coupling mechanisms of transmission interference
Chromý, Stanislav ; Vedral,, Josef (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The primary focus of the Bachelor's Thesis is placed on description of dominant interference sources and coupling mechanisms of interference signals transmission from the source of interference into influenced system including main principles of minimization and elimination of interference impact on a system. A relevant part of the Bachelor's Thesis describes coupling mechanisms of interference signal transmission into a real cable system including derivation of theoretical coupling mechanism transmission and its subsequent verification by means of simulated non-harmonic signal measurement.
Wireless power transfer by inductive coupling for biomedical applications
Studený, Jakub ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Mrnka, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with wireless power transfer implemented using a couple of inductively coupled planar coils. A procedure for designing planar coils using the Wheeler method is described as well as the process of simulating wireless transmission in a 3D electromagnetic field simulator. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the implementation of the designed coils with adaptive circuits, measurement of transmission by vector analyzer, investigation into the impact of coil distance, and mutual rotation of the coils and the materials interposed the between coils.
