Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

The bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of the financial situation of the company Rašino a.s. for period 2013-2018. The first part of the thesis contains thoretical knowledge that is also used in the second part. The second part of the thesis is practical part, financial analysis of the company based on the Financial report of the company. This part also contains some of the health models and bankruptcy prediction models like Aspect global rating, Index IN05, Altmans Z-score and others. In the last part of the thesis in the basis of chievements some proposals are presented. These could help to improve the financial situation.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the KORADO, a.s. Company and Proposals for its Improvement

Thesis deals with the financial soundness of the company KORÁDO, a.s., which evaluates the use of selected indicators of financial analysis. The work is divided into three basic parts. In the first part are defined the theoretical bases of methods for processing of financial analysis. In the second part is the selected method applied to the accounting data of the company in the years 2007-2010. Subsequently, the selected values of indicators, compared with the industry values. The third part is devoted to the recommendations for the improvement of the current financial situation of the company.

The Evaluation of Indebtedness of municipalities in the Czech Republic

This work deals with the debt of municipalities. The debt of municipalities is in the Czech Republic regulated and also monitored. Monitoring of the municipal debt is carried out by the Ministry of Finance, which uses system of information and monitoring indicators (SIMU). Evaluation, criticism and modification of the SIMU is the main output of this work. A new modified SIMU was created according to the evaluation of this system, and then it has been tested on Kutná Hora. The debt is also considered from the perspective of the size of the municipalities. The hypothesis of an influence of the municipality size (the size category according to CNB) on the amount of the municipal debt per capita in the period 2006 to 2010 was verified by statistical method called ANOVA. At the same time it was confirmed in three surveyed periods that although the large municipalities have a greater total value of the debt, in per capita are more indebted smaller communities.

Indicators of municipal debt

The aim of bachelor thesis is to assess development of debts in municipalities and precautions against these debts in Czech Republic, which are Monitoring the finances of municipalities of the Ministry of Finance and Financial and property analysis. Secondary aim of bachelor thesis is effectively link these two precautions. In bachelor thesis are described economical theories which are related to public sector. Next the thesis deals with the structure of municipal budget -- mainly incomes, expenditure and municipal finance. Part of thesis is also development of indebtedness in municipalities, causes and preventions for indebtedness in municipalities and regulative of indebtedness in municipalities. The last part of bachelor thesis deals with Financial and property analysis -- mainly indicator of debt service and Monitoring the finances of municipalities of the Ministry of Finance.
