This bachelor´s thesis is focused on an evaluation of the financial situation of the company STROJÍRNA OSLAVANY, spol. s r. o. during the years 2009 to 2013. The indicators and methods of financial analysis are used for the assessment. Based on the results of the analysis and findings of the information about the company, possible suggestions are designed for corrective actions to eliminate the found deficiencies. All of the proposed corrective measures should lead to an improvement of the company´s financial situation and ensure the company's further development.

In the first part brief information about the development and present situation of the company is included. In the next part necessary theoretical knowledge is decribed. This is needed for evaluation of the situation of the company and this theoretical knowledge is applied in the next part. The last point is the analysis of the problem and the making of a proposal for solving the ascertained situation.

In the practical part, we acquaint with the company and also with the results of of individual financial indicators and and results achieved. The last section contains a summary of the financial situation in the period under review and proposals for its improvement.
