Behavioral changes in fish after methamphetamine exposure
SLIVONĚ, Miroslav
Illegal drug use has adverse consequences in the global society, but what about other organisms or ecosystem? According to the results of recently published studies, the use of illegal drugs also has a negative effect on organisms in the aquatic environment, where it enters via insufficiently treated wastewater. This diploma thesis is focused on the effect of the illegal drug methamphetamine (METH) on the change in the behaviour of brown trout (Salmo trutta morpha fario) at environmentally relevant concentrations (1000 ng/L). The results of the experiments confirmed the presence of METH and its major metabolite amphetamine (AMFA) in the liver and brain tissue of exposed fish. The changes in fish behaviour suggest that exposure to METH affected the spatial orientation of fish, expressed by left laterality, and the locomotion, represented by higher exploratory activity of exposed fish. However, the effect of METH has not been demonstrated in the presence of fish near the feed site. Based on the results of this laboratory study, the negative impact of METH and its metabolites on individuals, populations, communities, and possibly entire ecosystems was concluded.

This bachelor thesis studies impacts of children drug addiction on family. Family, as a subject of my research, is represented as social unit that is negatively influenced by individual drug addiction of one of its child. On the basis of the change in essential family functions, all of possible impacts on family's wellbeing, which are resulting from the drug addiction, are being researched. This is for example issues relating to social isolation of the family, resocialization of the addicted member, change in the education style, impact on emotional household background or creation of security measurments due to dangerous and unpredictable behaviour. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on defining the fundamental terminology about drugs and about family. The next part of the theory is focused directly on connection of drug addiction in family due to easier understanding of the issue and simpler interpretation of methodological part. To obtain profound and detailed data, which will help me to understand the causalities, I have chosen the method of semistructured interviews with a biographical aspect. The interview was carried out with a member of a family who has been sharing the same household with an addicted member. Thanks to the data analysis and following data interpretation I have...

The prevention of drug problematic as a risical factor of criminality in Český Krumlov
HAVEL, David
The social environment at present is characterized by an increase in aggression, heightened criminality, and an expanded assortment of a wider spectrum of toxic substances on the drug market, combined with easier access to such substances. Children and youth are at present characterized by {\clqq}group crimes`` (extremist groups, sprayers, vandals, etc.) as well as crimes on property, often associated with the purchase and consumption of drugs. Brutality has increased, as has the intensity of attacks on person and property, and criminal acts are more organized. A thorough analysis of all these manifestations and trends would serve as a basis for the systematic steps towards their solution, but even more so towards their prevention. Work on the topic of Drug Prevention as a risk factor towards criminal acts in Český Krumlov includes a portion of criminal acts committed in the context of drug consumption in the Český Krumlov area as well as the attitude of second level elementary school and secondary school students in the Český Krumlov area towards the usage of drugs and their experience with drugs. The work also includes a prepared methodology of the effective specific primary prevention of addictive substances as a risk factor towards criminal acts for elementary school students in Český Krumlov.
