Object Detection Based on Edges
Caha, Jaroslav ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This work presents a door detection method in images for mobile robot navigation. The method is able to detect doors in an input picture on the basis of found image edges. It is important to distinguish the door from similar objects like windows, paintings, or floor patterns. Therefore, the picture is divided into more parts (a floor, a wall, a ceiling) so that the potential placement of the door can be better drawn.
Mathematical models in logistics
Nevrlý, Vlastimír ; Holešovský, Jan (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to model and generate test transportation networks, which are similar to real-world waste management networks. Several software tools (Mathematica, GAMS, Excel, VBA) are used to develop suitable procedures. The next task is to analyze dependence of computational complexity on the size of network by using statistical test computations. The existing original optimization model called NERUDA that supports decision-making in the eld of waste management is utilized. The obtained results are processed, analysed and interpreted in detail.
Biomedical image processing in LabVIEW
Mezuláníková, Radka ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the options of using the development environment of LabVIEW in specific processes such as an analyzing and biomedical image data processing. This bachelor thesis sets its goal as projecting and developing a computer program, which could process image data collected from microscopic devices. Image data from computer or external devices could be loaded into the program. It includes such functions as calculation of picture histogram, preprocessing by luminance or geometric transformations, preprocessing by smoothing filtration and edges detection and processing by segmentation. Function of the program was tested by tester images, microscopic images and also by images taken with camera straight into the program.
Software for manual focus of camera with 4K resolution
Sláma, Adam ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Kříž, Petr (advisor)
This Master thesis is focused on the analysis of currently used methods which whose target is to determine the rate of image focus. This analysis was used during the development of the program which evaluates the rate of image focus in percentage rate, works in real time and cooperates with a camera capable of 4k image resolution with a manual focus of the lenses. Application is then capable of a finding of a pre-defined image under certain circumstances which is being used for increasing of effectivity of image focusing. Another option is represented by a method that is searching the most suitable area for focusing in the center of the image. A detailed description of these methods and program itself are also included in the thesis. The final part of the thesis contains records of measurement tests with its results.

Selected Methods and Techniques of Ski Carving on a DVD
KRATOCHVÍL, Petr
Almost 15 years are carving ski on the market. They differ from ordinary skis by great side carve. Regardless the public still ski with the normal techniques and skiers are not able to enjoy the new dimension of skiing which is carving. The aim of my Diploma Thesis is to make a DVD with selected methods and techniques o ski carving. Clarify the differences between the old-school-skiing and the new modern style. By use of simple exercises gain the first feelings of ride on the edges and step by step improve it until the full control of each type of carving like for example Fun carving or the ride reminding the racers in the giant slalom.
