Using of voice for home eguipment control
Bubla, Lukáš ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on home automation, specifically on voice control. It describes methods of communication and control of automated systems and especially problematics of computer voice recognition using different methods. The thesis displays specific product for voice controlling developed by Czech company Elko ep, s.r.o. and then briefly looks at the issue of gesture control. At the end compares product from Elko ep with other products from foreign companies and discuss advantages and disadvantages of voice or gestures control.
Voice Controlled Calculator
Pavelek, Ota ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Grézl, František (advisor)
This thesis describes implementation of calculator, which can be controlled by both voice and normal way. Speech recognizing is realized with BSCORE library and has recognition network restricted to words needed by calculator. When the recognition is done, recognized sentence is transformed to expression and shown to user, so it can be corrected (especially in case of erroneous recognition). Expression is evaluated on user's request. The purpose of voice control is to make usage of calculator more effective and accesible for handicapped users.
Voice Controled Map of FIT
Huták, Petr ; Grézl, František (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the design and developement of navigation system for the Faculty of information technology, Brno university of technology with voice control. It explains the methods used for finding the shortest path on the map, speech recognition and describes existing navigation systems with voice control. The thesis is focused on creating a user interface with voice control. The purpose of voice control is to make usage of this navigation system more accesible and effective in a public place. Speech recognizing is realized with BSAPI library.
Voice Control of Industrial and Medical Devices in Noisy Environments
Vymětalíková, Lucie ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with voice control of industrial and medical devices in noisy environments. Different speech recognition models and methods for noise supression in speech signals are compared. Based on the research and conducted testing, a custom voice control system is designed. The system consists of a wake word detection model and a model for the predefined commands recognition. An audio response for the operator and a script execution based on the recognized commands is also implemented in the system. A modification for automatic door opening of the OpenTube2 laboratory box was designed.

Hlasové ovládání pro efektivní editaci textu
Citorík, Juraj ; Lokoč, Jakub (advisor) ; Skopal, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive introduction to digital sound processing and speech recognition. Selected speech recognition features as well as algorithms are introduced and utilized in a voice controlled text editor and a .NET class library. The performance of the features is evaluated in both speaker-dependent and speaker-independent recognition of commands related to text editing. The library provides a straightforward way of implementing a speaker-dependent, domain-constrained voice recognition in an arbitrary application. It is used in a simple voice controlled text editor. The editor allows the user to assign voice commands to built-in actions. In this way, it is possible for inexperienced users to access and use advanced features of the program without having to learn complex workflows. Moreover, this approach is language-agnostic and can even be used by people with speech impairments as opposed to majority of presently used voice recognition systems. The results of the experiments indicate that, given a recording of sufficient quality, the presented features and algorithms provide an effective means to implement a speaker-dependent speech recognition system, which can be used in a voice controlled text editor. Voice command for a TV set
Černý, Patrik ; Straňák, Pavel (advisor) ; Peterek, Nino (referee)
Title: Voice command for a TV set Author: Patrik Černý Department: Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics Supervisor: Mgr. Pavel Straňák, Ph.D. Abstract: A goal of this thesis is to create television voice control intended for poeple with speech and movement disorder. This is achieved by interconnecting computer and television. Voice control is based on well-known dynamic time warping algorithm. It has been shown, that due to high and frequent changes in sound intensity the voice control of television is quite a complex task. The word recognition success rate of the final application is not very high, but for the purpose sufficient. Because of application design, program can be easily extended by techniques, that can improve recognition effectivity. Keywords: voice control, word recognition, dynamic time warping, television 1
