Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Písek.

Intention of this bachelor thesis is to examine and to analyze possibilities of integration children aged 8 - 15 years with mental, visual and hearing impairment disabilities in district Písek. This work is divided in theoretical part that explains general view of the term disabilities of children, outlines the importance of integrating children with disabilities to the society with intact children. The characteristic and classification of mental, visual and auditory disabilities are explained and at the same time the possibilities of using suitable sports for individual levels of handicap are described. Theoretical part also describes the district Písek and its offer of free time motion activities. At the same time the meaning and importance of free time activities with reference to healthy style of life is emphasized. In practical part a survey is performed. 18 coaches, 25 children with disabilities, 28 intact children and 7 directors from schools and sports facility participated in the survey. Based on the opinions of coaches and specialized workers, most of them agrees with integration of children with disabilities to the motion activities with intact children. However they aren't able to provide special lead of these activities, because 44 % of them does not have sports education. The excellent report was a clear 100 % agreement on the integration of disabled children by all school heads and sports schools. And they confirmed the answers from children with disabilities, and 52 % of children would like to engage in physical activity with intact children.
Substance use among people with hearing disability: exploration and cerrelation probe

Although there are about 500 000 of people with hearing impairment in Czech republic, a risk group of substance abuse due to determinants of this impairment, there are distinctive lack of studies focused on this theme in our state. There are few foreign studies offering some results, overall interest is still slender in this issue. This work was aimed to define the basic terms and briefly describe difficulties of hearing impairment, psychological aspects and patterns of drug use in hearing impaired population due to available resources and exploration and correlation questionnaire study. The study had a questionnaire form and was spread by snow ball method in first stage, through 8 basic subjects on social network called facebook.com and other forms of mass communication. In the second stage we used a purposeful selection at two schools for the hearing impaired in Prague. Participants were indviduals with more than 20 dB hearing loss (includes) in both cases. The participation was no age or locally restricted. The result of theoretical and practical part is a fact, that drug using in hearing impaired population is on the same or maybe even higher level like in intact population. Integrated Education of a Pupil with Special educational needs - Case Study

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current situation in integrated educating of a pupil with special educational needs, or more specifically, of a child with high functioning autism combined with practical deafness. Through analysis of specialised literature, the theoretical part defines the expression integration; other definitions include hearing disability and autism as the causes limiting the pupil's inclusion in educating in a mainstream elementary school. The practical part of the thesis includes a case study - description of the pupil's case. Experience is described from the current integrated education in a special elementary school where the pupil is educated according to the Framework Educational Program for Elementary Schools, with the prospective of upcoming re-integration into the mainstream elementary school, or, as the case may be, depending on the parents' decision, his integration in an elementary school for hearing impaired children. In drawing up the case study, the following methods were applied: observation and analysis of the pupil's educational products.
Golf training program focused on children and youth with hearing disability in the context of leisure activities

Thesis "Golf training program focused on children and youth with hearing disability in the context of leisure activities " in its theoretical part deals with the theme of hearing disability in terms of etiology, diagnosis and classification, focuses also on communication systems. More attention is devoted to the development, education and specifics of physical activities in children with hearing disability. Finally introduces golf training program called SNAG which is still new in the world and its versatility is ideal for teaching in schools. The research deals with the influence of the interventional motion program focused on golf lessons for children and youth with hearing disability aged 7 to 18 years. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate positive impact of golf training program on physical and psychosocial health within a standardized questionnaire PedsQLTM 4.0. Based on the results which are presented in graphs and tables each with a brief commentary confirms the positive impact of golf training program on physical and psychosocial health of all individuals in the experimental group. After completion of the three-month intervention program there was an overall average improvement of 6 % on physical health and 5.1 % on psychosocial health. The results of the control group were with no significant differences. The main contribution of this thesis is to verificate the positive impact of golf training program on physical and psychosocial health in children and youth with hearing disability in age from 7 to 18 years.
Applications barefoot walking for persons with disabilities.

Walk, run, play sports or even barefoot is healthy and natural. We can practice indoors and out. It is known for its health benefits - strengthens muscles, tendons, has a positive impact on joints, improves posture, positively stimulates the cardiovascular system etc. Barefoot walking is recommended in the intact society and persons with disability. The thesis consists of a theoretical part which deals with benefits of barefoot walking aids, which can be used for walking barefoot. Then it deals with visual and auditory disability. In the practical part I focused on whether children with visual and auditory disability familiar with the concept of barefoot walk barefoot walking, and whether they practice and I compared the performance of children with disability with children from intact population.
Analysis of conditions of health science for children with hearing disability at school

The aim of my bachelor theseis was to gain the achal informatik about conditions of children with hearing disability in schools of Southern Bohemia. In my work I´ve been focusing on children of the age of 8 ? 15 yeares. The theoretical section is focused on the terms which are closely related to the topic, disability, child with hearing disability, evolution of the child with hearing disability, aids ? for example hearing aids, cochlear implants and thein usage in the school environment, by child´s with hearing disability parent, in the subjekt Health Education in the school and South Bohemian Region. The practical section brings knowledge from the area of the given isme, the methods used in the Molnár´s and Creswell´s research are described. The opinions of the respondentes on the research were examined on the specimen of the children with hearing disability and their teachers in South Bohemian Region by questionnaire of my own construction can be concluded that the level of the elementary schools in the education of the subject. In the edn of theseis the conditions of the children with hearing disability on the subjekt Health Education are summarized and possible recommendations for practice are given. Schools have positive attitude in integrating the children with hearing disability and seem to be very open in this topic.
Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Prachatice area.

This thesis deals with current availability of physical activity for children with disability age 8-15 in Prachatice region in their leisure time. It is divided into two main parts. The theoretical section is focused on specific terms regarding mental, visual and hearing disability. Practical part is concentrating on main research. The questionnaires were introduced to school masters, sport instructors, children with disability as well as intact children and disability children's parents. The research focused on availability of leisure time physical activity, which is quite extensive for children with hearing and mental disability compare to ones offered to children with visual disability. Through the survey was discovered that 35% of the instructors are without professional sport education, 65% instructors are trainer license holders or physiotherapist. Research also studied possibility of integration children with disability.
Services for people with visual and hearing disability in trains, buses, cinemas, theaters and cultural attractions in the South Bohemian Region

The aim of this thesis is to obtain current information on services for people with visual and hearing disability in trains, buses, cinemas, theaters and cultural attractions in the South Bohemian Region, and also determine their satisfaction with the above mentioned services. Thesis in its theoretical level deals with the theme of visual and hearing disability in terms of etiology, diagnosis, terminology and classification, a closer is devoted to the problems of persons with these two specific types of disability. Indicates the possibility of their education and training organizations for these people and provides a brief look into the history of the care for people with visual and hearing disability. In the next section the theoretical analysis are described in detail currently available in social services, transportation and cultural area of the South Bohemian Region and lists a number of organizations providing such services. There are services targeted directly to the clients with both the types of medical disability. The research then brings practical knowledge of the subjects specified issues. The form of the questionnaire survey on a sample population specifically the presence of visual and hearing disability residing in the South Bohemian Region were surveyed respondents' views on the topics of research. Structured interviews with people with visual and hearing disability representatives dealing with services for this population group disseminates research on qualitative dimension and gives a more comprehensive and coherent view of individuals at the researched topic. The results obtained by means of a poll survey and controlled interviews that offer services in the areas of transport and addressed the cultural sphere in the South Bohemian Region of the relatively high level. The interviewed people with visual and hearing disability declared in his most satisfaction with these services, many of them would of course welcome and some partial improvement of their quality and availability. Data obtained from the research and the conclusions drawn from them can serve as recommendations for practice, including for organizations active in the field of the care for people with medical disability, but also for public officials giving the basic concept in the field of social services, transport and culture of the South Bohemian Region.
Persons with hearing impairments in the dramatic arts

This bachelor thesis concentrates on issues associated with people with hearing problems and their relationship with theatrical art. The aim of this work is to introduce the problems of studying theatrical art by individuals that are hearing impaired, and also the problems associated with employment for these people. The specifics of being hearing impaired are described in the theoretical section, including communication and education of the hearing impaired. The next chapter addresses theatrical art in relationship to the hearing impaired people. It also includes the performance of university subject Educational Drama of the Deaf (further reffered to as VDN). Also the employment opportunities after graduation from this university subject are covered and chapters the Hearing Impaired as Artists and Hearing Impaired as Educators are included. There is a very limited amount of specialist literature available on this problematic. It was chosen qualitative research method by using half structured interview so the information in the theoretical part were specified or broadened so the reader gets the best possible overview about this problematic. The target group were hearing impaired graduates of the VDN subject, they have the greatest experience in this sphere and therefore they can pass on lots of important information. By the interest of these graduates it can be concluded, that educational subjects opened up for specific target groups is a positive move towards breaking barriers between people who have normal hearing and people who are hearing impaired. This subject could be a model for specialists and the public, on how to further broaden and improve conditions for all disabled people. As outlined above, the scope of this of this bachelor thesis includes an analysis of the concerns of the specifics of the Hearing Impaired Theatre, the analysis incorporates the theatrical performance of the VDN students from a hearing impaired point of view. This bachelor thesis can be an informative source of information for the normal hearing part of a population about the problematic of the hearing impaired and about the Hearing Impaired Theatre.
The Hearing Child´s Life in the World of Silence

This work inquires into a life of a hearing child who is brought up by deaf parents. The theoretical part is characterized by people with hearing disabilities, their education, communication and culture. It describes the different life for the child with deaf parents. These children are a specific group, which is rooted in two worlds - the world of deaf people and the world hearing ones. These children are often bilingual, at home they communicate in sign language and away from home in czech language. Almost all of these children are experienced by interpreting for their parents. Parents are often dependent on their children. The practical part includes three case reports of these offspring and their comparison. All the girls consistently described both negative and positive aspects of their lives.
