Evaluation of teaching in the field of healthy lifestyle for children in kindergarten
ROUDNICKÁ, Lenka
A healthy lifestyle is an essential part of everyone's life. For this reason, it is necessary to know what is beneficial for our body and what is harmful to it. Behavioural habits are formed from a very early age, which is why a healthy lifestyle should be something of a staple in every family. Kindergarten provides pre-school education for children, complements family education and can thus introduce children to new habits. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the principles of healthy lifestyle in kindergartens. The results of the thesis demonstrate the basic knowledge of teachers and children of the principles of healthy lifestyle. Based on the results obtained, it was found that out of the study population (n = 20) a total of 90% of the teachers are interested in healthy lifestyle. It was also found that 70% of the teachers surveyed in kindergartens were most concerned about eating a proper and varied diet. A less positive message is that up to 55% of children (according to the educators) suffer from psychological problems. The paper emphasises the knowledge and subsequent application of healthy lifestyle principles. On the other hand, it also points out how ignorance of these principles negatively affects the development of the pre-school child.
