This Bachelor Thesis ?Mapping, Stocktaking and Categorization of Brownfields considering to Ground Plan? is focused in the first part on characteristics of brownfields. Thesis also defines brownfields and connected terms, process of mapping, identification and then brownfields are divided according to several aspects. At the end of theoretical part there are institutions that solve the financial issues. Practical part of this thesis characterizes South Bohemia region, district of České Budějovice and brownfields in this area. There is also part relevant to the specific brownfields near České Budějovice.

Use of brownfields as a part of potential in rural areas

This thesis deals with the definitions of rural development, rural areas, brownfields, greenfields. In the practical part compares two real locations in South County. Greenfield site is located in the village in the district Vidov Czech Budejovice and borwnfield site is located in the village in the district Želeč Tabor. Both locations are assessed according to the model of South Bohemia, which is based on studies němcekého Ministry of Environment. This model consists zetří criteria - potential sites in terms of community benefit in terms of potential investor and the change in the value space - public interest in the regeneration of brownfield sites. These three criteria are still my sub, under which then determines the significance of the site. Then, by calculating the preference index (PI) to determine which location is more suitable for implementation.

Economic aspects of brownfield regeneration in South Bohemia

The purpose of this thesis is to highlight the issue of brownfields. Green Meadow is still dominant because investors often care about making their edifice was built on the spot where now nothing happened, but on the other hand, brownfields have their advantages and disadvantages. The content of this paper is a general definition and the definition of terms as they are perceived by organizations that issue. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the economic regeneration of brownfield sites in selected South Bohemian region consisting of the assessment of costs and benefits associated with brownfields. Brownfields selection was made based on the availability of information and the suitability of the sample for evaluation.

The issue of brownfield in Ústecký region

The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of utilizing the brownfield sites. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to basic concepts of brownfields, the most common causes for its creation and contains a classification of different types of brownfields. This part also deals with the important process of an investor choosing between two possibilities -- brownfields and greenfields -- for his investment intentions. Also common difficulties related to brownfields and positives which their rehabilitation brings are mentioned. At the end of the theoretical part several approaches are given to solve the examined issue including embedding program and funding options. The practical part is focused on a brief description of the present state of brownfields in the Czech Republic, subsequently more deeply in Ústecký region. Part of the practical part is an outline of problems, which might come up during the rehabilitation of brownfield, on a practical example the Milada Lake. The aim of this work is to give a comprehensive characteristic on the issue of brownfields, outline common related problems and analyze situation in the Czech Republic and more deeply in Ústecký region using a practical example.

Classification and evaluation of brownfiled sites in the South region in the Czech republic

This thesis focuses on classification and evaluation of brownfiled sites in the South region in the Czech republic. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is aimed at defining the issues of brownfields, particulary to the development and current status of brownfileds not only in the South region. The classification of brownfields is part of the chapter. In the second part is applied the model based on the scoring of the parameters.

Suggestion how to make the best of brownfields in a chosen area of a South region of the Czech Republic

This thesis deal with a issue of not making the best of these objects, so - called brownfileds. This project's point was to analyze brownfileds situation in the South region area and to suggest a possibility of making the best of them in a chosen area. A former glass factory has been chosen for this purpose. Wide area of formal glass factory in a Lenora village has been chosen for the actual suggestion of brownfileds revitalization as this area has not been served it's purpose for years. The suggestion to use this area largely faces tourist trade potential. This whole area is attractive for tourists for various reasons, as nature and social activities, location and good transport from a Lipno area. However most of the tourists are wanting a accomodation and spare time activities in areas with major possibilty of supporting tourist services. Creating a museum in the former Lenora's glass factory could help a sequetial expansion of tourist services and also attract tourists to stay for a longer period.

Analýza problematiky znovuvyužívání brownfields v České republice

Práce se zabývá znovuvyužíváním brownfields v České republice. Vyjmenovává jednotlivé typy brownfields, popisuje příčiny jejich vzniku a poukazuje na hlavní problémy s nimi spojené, zejména na nedostatečnou evidenci a nejednoznačné rozdělení kompetencí organizací zabývajících se touto problematikou. Práce porovnává brownfields s greenfields a popisuje nástroje, které mohou napomoci znovuvyužívání brownfields. Porovnání je následně aplikováno na konkrétní případ regenerace brownfields a výstavby na zelené louce.
