Baroque devontional picture in the Czech Lands or Theme of Palladium země České in graphic creation of the 17th and 18th centuries

The thesis is in the form of theoretical-practical and its subject is baroque devonational graphics. Individual chapters acquaint the reader with its history, purpose and other contexts related to it. For example, the Marian cult, the cult of saints or pilgrimage. The thesis continues to elaborate on the topic of devocation graphics through the names of Baroque graphic artists and engravers who worked on our territory and their works influenced the production of religious graphics. The final chapters of the theoretical part are devoted to the analysis of religious graphics depicting the Palladium of Bohemia motif. The practical part of the thesis processes the knowledge gained from the theoretical part and works with the Palladium of Bohemia motif and converts it within the author's creation into devocation graphics.
Motivation Towards Folk Art Using Graphic Techniques in Free Time Education Within the Liturgical Year. Younger School Age

In my diploma thesis is shown the significance of younger school-age children motivation. The scope of the work is usage of different graphic techniques and activities within the pre-Christmass and Christmass period. In theoretical part is pointed out on motivation, characterics and questions of folk art in graphic techniques, explanation of advent idea, diffusion of games and art and differences between them. Further is taken into consideration free time perception and with it connected free-time activities realted to graphic and handicraft doings. It is also described the evolution of children drawings, its assesment and development of interest in such activity. In applied part is mentioned project consisting of four main parts {--} standing for particular parts of advent period. In each part are mentioned several graphic activities related in topic to the liturgical period of Christmas. By each technique is stated common activity which helps in developing of creativity using games or similar methods. The aim is to include all children to the socializtion process, mutual communication and understanding. At the end of my work are stated knoweledges from realisation of graphic projects in school kindergarten.
Realm of structures and layers. Natural themes in the graphics of the second half of the 20th century in Bohemia.

This bachelor thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical section inquires into natural theme of graphic art structures and layers in representative artists of the second half of the 20th century in Bohemia and is mostly devoted to life and graphic works of Jiří John. It also represents major graphic art styles and its specifics including important historical milestones and findings from the position of bohemian graphic art at that time. The output of practical part is a set of graphic lists created by drypoint technique on the theme of natural motifs of structures and layers influenced by selected inspirational sources.
Analysis of the contemporary Czech banknotes of Oldřich Kulhánek and the suggestion of new Czech banknote

The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part states a short analysis of development and technology of production of means of payment and coins, contemporary Czech bank notes and their authors. There is also described a comparison of Czech banknotes' and European banknotes' motives. In the theoretical part are included information about the author of banknotes' concept, Mr. Oldřich Kulhánek. In the practical part is described the own process of banknote concept itself in details. A part of practical part shows the own concept of the banknote.
Master B with the Die from the collection of National Gallery in Prague

The aim of this essay is an assessment of an anonymous engraver's work from the early 16th century whose monogram is a cube with a letter B. The essay is divided into two separate main units. The first enclosed unit includes texts helping us to create a partial picture of the Master's life. There are information dealing with a cultural environment and a technological development of the graphic art in the times of the Master's existence. The second unit is a char- acterization and a detailed analysis of selected pieces of work with an accent on the technologi- cal aspect of the prints. The creation of the Master's B of the Die life story was very difficult considering the lack of the literature. After a thorough search in libraries and on the internet not even one continu- ous text concerning directly this artist has been found. Incomplete information have been found only in collected encyclopaedias about art. For drawing-up at least a short life story accessible information about cultural environment of the then humanistic society have been used which are composed in a separate chapter. The next separate part of a lesser extent is interested in edi- tors co-operating in the Master's B of the Die environment and participating on the production of his graphics.
