The aim of bachelor´s thesis is design and assessment of bearing structure two-aisle multipurpose sports hall in Třeboň, which is designed from timber or steel. The main aisle is rectangular floor plan 26x45 m. The proportions of secondary aisle are 10x43 m. The main bearing structure causes as a frame or saddle truss supported by columns. Solid frame is made from steel, glued-laminated timber truss is solid, frame truss is made from solid timber or steel. Steel structure is made from steel S235, timber structure is made from solid C24 or glued-laminated GL24h timber. Purlin is designed from solid timber or steel.Columns are designed from glued-laminated timber or steel. Static analysis has been accomplished by student version of the SCIA Engineer 2011 software.
