Microwaves are electromagnetic waves of frequencies from 300 MHz to 300 GHz, corresponding to wavelengths from 1 m to 1 mm. For industrial application is allowed more frequencies, but we are mainly interested in the frequency 2 450 MHz, a wavelength of 12,2 cm, which we use in our applications. The heating occurs so that the electric field in the water molecules orient themselves according to polarization. Microwaves belong to a large family of electromagnetic waves, which also includes the visible light, which is governed by Maxwell's equations. Principle of microwave drying is based on the vibration of water molecules in the mass of masonry, of heat generated by their movement and friction, the conversion of water vapor and subsequent venting these few. Vibration of water molecules is the primary storyline in the process. Water molecules under these conditions are able to get rid of its energy potential, which is bound to the capillaries in the building material and prevents evaporation.
