Intergenerational Transmission of Aggressive Behavior within Families as a Cause of Domestic Violence

Thesis Transgeneration transfer of aggressive behaviour in families as a cause of domestic violence has theoretically - empirical nature and is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is defined by the family, its functions, types, and family pathology is described in the context of domestic violence and CAN syndrome. The central chapters of this section also deal with educational styles, parental attitudes, characteristics of domestic violence and child development in families with the occurrence of domestic violence. The practical part includes a qualitative analysis of documents, families affected by domestic violence, held at the Municipal Office Prachatice, department of Social and legal protection of children. The analysis examined whether these families can be considered the transgeneration transfer patterns of behaviour and styles of upbringing family to multiply family. The analysis is complemented by interviewed case study. Causes of long staying of children in the institutional care

This diploma deals with the care of vulnerable children in the Czech Republic and in the domeins of foster care and residential care. The main emphasis is in the views of the actors involved and their perception of children, parents, foster parents and applicants for adoption in the space between the biological family, institution and foster care. This thesis attempts to describe the causes of the long stay of children in institutional care, according to some participants. The main methods are interviews with key stakeholders who are selected on the basis of rapid analysis of stakeholders. The research questions are at work identifying the main causes and sub-system problems from the perspective of actors, is devoted to their interest and proposed solutions. Theoretical basis are the stakeholders and their roles, how their behavior, relationships, roles and interests affect the functioning of the system and resolve the problem. Developmental psychology and socialization of individuals are used to explain the problem. The diploma describes the current state of the system of care for vulnerable children in the Czech Republic, family policy and outlined the proposed solutions of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, considerable space is devoted to temporary foster care for the person and social worker.
Place the child out of family

The work deals with causes of child placement outside the family and with impacts of way parent´s care on eolution and behaviour of child. The theoretic part describes the family, functions of family, typology of family and styles of education. Futher on characterises the most important evolution´s period of child with a view to pathology´s phenomenon in the family. The experimental part includes the analysis of official documents about the families of children placed outside the family, which are leading at the town office in Prachatice on the department of social and legal protection of children and youth. Experimental´s family were classifield according to the established typology, it was found cause of child placement outside the family and impacts of way parent´s care on evolution and behaviour of child. The attention was paid to also risk factors affecting quality of parenting.
