Project of Overhead Line
Chrástek, Radim ; Těžký, Jiří (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
Overhead line has to suit a series of requests, so that all its parts safely resist mechanical and electrical tension. This bachelor’s thesis deals with mechanical tension. At first, necessary overhead line’s relationships under different climatic conditions are deduced. Consequently, practical calculations are introduced. Calculations are done with Matlab program.
Dimensioning of Supporting Constructions for MV Overhead Lines
Křepela, Pavel ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The reason of supporting constructions is to transfer all power activity and fulfill all requirements on safe operation of electrical grid. This bachelor’s thesis deals with designing of supporting constructions of the overhead line MV. The main task is to acquire knowledges about single parts of supporting constructions and to describe steps of power effects calculation according to current legislation. The outcome is a simple software application for supporting constructions design from power effect viewpoint.
Overhead Line Protection against Climatic Effects
Sýkora, Martin ; Topolánek, David (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The outdoor overhead lines are influenced by additional load pressure of wind and frost. These can have adverse reaction on outdoor conduction of the electric power. My bachelors' report deals with separate climatic effects and possibilities of their resolution. It it also concentrates on removing the negative influences caused particularly by wind and on the possibilities of liquidation of the frost that had already originated.
Mechanical Design of 110 kV Overhead Line
Guliš, Tomáš ; Sýkora, Martin (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
When designing overhead lines we must respect many influences that act on it. These are electrical effects and mechanical effects, caused in normal conditions by wind, frost and temperature. This bachelor’s thesis is mainly focused on comparison of calculation of separate load cases and comparison of parameters obtained by mechanical calculation of particular overhead line according to standards ČSN 33 3300 and ČSN EN 50341-1.
Effect of soil water phase change on the soil temperature oscillation
Trlica, Ondřej ; Vlach, František (referee) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with the study of soils freezing in terms of phase change of water contained in the soil strata on green roofs. The aim of this work is to verify the effect of phase transformation of water on the course of temperature oscillation. First described the basic characteristics of soils generally, and subsequently described processes occurring during phase transformation of water in the soil and has been carried out experimental verification of the effect of moisture in the soil on the course of temperature oscillation. In the overall evaluation of the work, an analysis of the effect of phase change water in soil on the course of temperature oscillation and the resulting conclusion of work.
Increasing the durability of cement-bonded particleboards using surface treatments
Zrza, Ondřej ; Vacula, Miroslav (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
Materials based on renewable rew materials are even in modern architecture still applied. Due to their nature exhibit sensitivity to weathering, e.g. in terms of their durability, volume stability etc. These undesirable charakteristics can be achieved by suitable finish. Within thesis were evaluated currently used types of coatings and their application in order to eliminate the adverse effects, such as frost, chemical deicing agents or chemicals.
Frost Indexes for the Cold Half-year in the Czech Republic
Zahradníček, Pavel ; Rožnovský, J. ; Brzezina, J. ; Štěpánek, Petr ; Farda, Aleš ; Chuchma, F. ; Potopová, V.
The dynamics of air temperatures during cold half-year to a large extent affect all human activities. Most significant damages are caused by minimum air temperatures dropping to very low values. Due to the current ongoing climate change, air temperatures in winter in general are increasing, however, this does not necessarily mean the frequency of these very low temperatures decreases. It is not easy to express the course of air temperatures during cold periods using some simple characteristic. Meteorologists and climatologists use various characteristics, which can be referred to as frost indexes. These include the number of frost, ice or arctic days. Since these indexes not always perfectly reflect reaction of the nature to a particular temperature threshold, the analysis also included number of days with minimum air temperature below -3, -5, -7, -10, -15, -20 and -25°C. In the last 15 years (2001-2015), there has been a decrease in the frost indexes in comparison to the normal period 1961-1990, this trend however, is not always statistically significant. Significant changes were found in particular in case of the number of days with a higher temperature threshold (frost, ice days and minimum air temperature above -3 to -10°C). In contrast, days with extremely low temperatures are relatively rare (sometimes only observed once in several years), so the dominant factor here is rather variability. The paper also includes an analysis of possible future development based on the most recent climatological models.
