The bachelor thesis handles a summary of working methods of frameless casting molds and compares advantages and disadvantages of individual technologies. In its practical part, the thesis is focused on a corporation Slévárna a modelárna Nové Ransko, s.r.o. whose frameless molding went through a modernization that is the subject of this thesis. A morally and physically obsolete production line UNIVERSAL KFA 20 was exchanged for a more accurate and efficient one – DISA MATCH 20/24.
