Evaluation of the impact of fire safety equipment for the safety of persons escaping from the building

The safety evacuation from the fire affected building is the most imported thing, which is bound to the fire safety of building. The evacuation of persons is necessary process and procedure which can safe lives and health in the most of extraordinary event caused by fire of buildings or technologies. The typical efect attend fires set in buildings, which threaten persons, property and fire - fighting fire brigades. These threaten efects are products of combustion, flame, heat and deficiency of oxygen. I present the way how to use the fire safety devices in various types of buildings in my diploma work, above all towards to safety escape persons from the fire affected building. I describe the practical positive and also negative finding during installation and mutual coordination the fire safety devices.

This graduation thesis has primary target in faithful imagine of basic evacuation steps within all-around idemnity of her ensuring. Today{\crq}s, this topic rise to important theme and we can tell that if is evacuation correct provided than it means the most effective instrument of people safety and create the files of differents measurement as well. Together build one entity of very complicated planning and providing procedures in their individual steps. The document is dividing to fourth sections. First include actual stage and law procedures of evacuation process within Czech Republic area. Second section is devote to 3 evacuation types, namely floods, chemical disaster following by outflow of chemical materials and fires. These are completed by example of flood due to weit disruption. On the base of victims testimony and research by auxiliary investigation with people are discuss closely some answers to basic questions concerning to evacuation. Finaly is described severally steps and subprocesses of evacuation secure. Additional value of this document is in basic information disclosure for readers questions with effort to inform society. Effective and flexible comunication is main and key point of success.

Fire insurance

This bachelor thesis deals with fire insurance. In the beginning, it attempts to map the most significant moments in the history and development of fire insurance since founding of the first mutual insurance company in Prague in 19th century, until the recent time. Second chapter in dedicated to the main subject and construction of the insurance, defining risks such as fire, explosion, lightning stroke and fall of a plane. It also defines inception, period of insurance, term of insurance, expiry of insurance, indemnity, place of the operation of insurance, interception of insurance etc. Main goal of the last part is the market analysis of general insurance products of five most significant insurance companies on the Czech market today -- Česká pojišťovna, Kooperativa, Allianz, Generali Pojišťovna and Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna.

Fire-fighting equipment for an efficient action of fire-fighting units in the neighbourhood Maj in Strakonice.

The thesis analyses the current situation at the residential area Máj. It describes problems and defects preventing successful and early firefighting intervention, it tries to find a solution for an improvement of fire safety in buildings and suggests innovative precautions for complete revitalization of the residential area in terms of the fire protection. The aim of the work is to outline conditions of high quality that would allow the efficient intervention of fire protection units at the residential area Máj. When elaborating this work I considered the data obtained from the area planning documents, project documentation, legal regulations and technical directives concerning the fire safety area, the alarm plan of the region, my own investigation and the survey performed by using the questionnaire method in the residents of the residential area Máj in Strakonice. As a result of the findings I suggest in the thesis solutions, improving current conditions of firefighting intervention when implemented, and so enhancing the efficiency of the performance.

The level of fire prevention in agriculturral sector

RÉSUMÉ The name of this graduation thesis is `The condition and standard of securing fire prevention in agriculture properties`. This work focuses on the statistics of fires and direct damages in the agriculture area in years from 1997 to 2008. Those statistics were made according to controls carried out by Czech fire-brigade and also newly appeared illness called bird flu. There were four cases of bird flu confirmed in the Pardubice area of the republic. All of them had to be quickly dissolved. There is also mentioned special equipment called ANPL 100, which was developed so as to provide fire extinction of hay towers in Český Krumlov. This equipment is the only one in the whole republic therefore it is mentioned here in this work. But we do not focus on this equipment in detail because it is done so in other thesis. There are conclusions determined in this thesis. They were found out by this work and certain practical experience. The most important of them are as follows: 1. to regularly carry out controls by fire-brigade in the whole area of The Czech Republic 2. to set a uniform program to carry out those controls 3. carry out updating of emergency plans of single areas and further documentation which will set up procedures and tasks for disposal of infected areas 4. introduce the fire extinction problems in agriculture properties and the ways of destroying the ill animals seats to members of brigades within the regular classified preparation

Fire control equipment and its emergency use with a view to the safety of escaping people

The bachelor thesis entitled "Fire control equipment and its emergency use with a view to the safety of escaping people" is aimed at providing public information on the basic kinds of fire control equipment and their use. The thesis stresses the fact that the availability of fire control security equipment in the households is rather poor considering its main aim is the protection of the owners´ health and assets. The results were obtained with the use of questionnaires supplied to the public and by the survey of statistical data received from particular fire brigades including the numbers of deaths in household fires. Installing the basic kinds of fire control equipment which I mentioned in my thesis can considerably improve the chances of survival as well as decrease related health risks and damage to property.

Optimalization of escape ways big shopping centres

This bachelor work is payed to safeness of persons, animals and property in the case of evacuation. This work is deal with the evacuation of large shopping centres especially, because there is increased density of people. My bachelor thesis is mainly conserned with optimalization of escape ways from large shopping centres. There are described fires, some kinds of constructions, safety devices and mainly escape ways in particular sections. Part of this work is the schematic plan.
