This diploma thesis is related to construction order preparation and management from the investor´s view. Theoretical part deals with the project management, essential legislation included. In the practical part the construction order preparation and management of the concrete contracting authority is described. This work´s outcome is the elementary methodical process how to manage project by a contracting authority.

The Master Thesis focuses on an investment project’s economic effectiveness and stability of financing. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are basic ideas on investment projects explained and further the thesis deals with project lifecycle phases, cash flow predictions, methods of investment economic evaluation, factors that influence investment decision making and sources of project’s financing. In the practical part there are these theoretical findings applied on a real investment project and by analyzing it is searching for a recommendation for a project realization.

The thesis deals with investment projects financing at the municipal level. Specific investment plan is chosen in accordance with the municipality's development strategy. The aim of this thesis is to propose a suitable financing method for this plan. This thesis deals with simplified financial and economic evaluation of the project. The evaluation is prepared with the aim to obtain financing for the investment from the European Union funding.

The residential market in south Moravian region

This thesis aims to analyze trends in the area of residential properties within selected locality over a selected period of time. Introduction chapter explains basic terminology of real estate market and later unveils the way how is residential market integrated into real estate market as such. It also describes factors that have significant impact on supply and demand. Next chapter describes residential market and distribution of its particular sectors. Main chapter analyzes selected parameters which affect residential market in the South Moravian Region. Key parameters are demographic movement, income and living standards of residents and its relationship to household, residential construction trends, etc. The final chapter is concerned with housing condition of council flats and houses in the area of Brno metropolis. The analyses contains the trend monitoring of selected factors over a selected period of time.
Valuation of Economic Situation of Construction Company

The Diploma thesis is focusing on the sphere of financial management of a building company. The first part explains the theoretical background of procedures and methods that are subsequently applied in practice, as described in the second part. The paper focused in particular on the finincial analysis of the company and on determining the company’s financial standing. The financial standing is finally evaluated using indicators which were chosen very carefully and the importance of which is analyzed in the theoretical part of the paper. The financial analysis was done for five successive years that provide at least partial notion of the company development in the past. Having considered total situation the paper goes on with the proposal of a short-term financial plan striving to outline the direction the company should follow in the next year.
Business Intention of Construction Company focused on Timber Constructions

The thesis includes business intention of construction company in the form of a feasibility study. Planned company deals with the realization of timber-framed buildings that are built by hand directly on the construction site. The introductory part describes basic knowledge of the investment projects planning. One subchapter shortly describes the timber construction system. Parts of the business intention are oriented on corporate strategy, marketing, production technology, manpower, economic a financial analysis and risk management. In conclusion is an overall assessment of the project feasibility.

The stable will be located in the village Vesce near the town Moravské Budějovice and among the services that will be offered include stabling, training horses and riders and equestrian club. Part of the business plan is a thorough analysis of the business environment. There are also dealt with the essential requirements and procedure for the establishment of a riding stable. The business plan is also prepared personnel, marketing and financial plan. The business risks are related, because the work includes risk assessment company. Business plan will serve to decide whether to start a business or not.

In the next part is processed a comparison of two alternatives of financing using selected methods and processing of financial analysis after asset acquisition. Finally, the work deals with evaluation and recommendations which alternative of financing is preferable.

This master thesis deals with the issue of project funding from the Structural Funds of the EU. At first are defined theoretical ways out of the municipality, project and project management. The next part analyzes contemporary state of the town Kunovice. Subsequently, the prepared concrete proposals for funding from EU structural funds and other alternative financing. The conclusion is evaluating the possibility of financing the project.
