Využití obohaceného prostředí při výkrmu prasat
ULMONOVÁ, Karolína
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cannibalism in the fattening of pigs. This problem has been eliminated through the enriched space where toys were placed in the pig pen. Ethological observations were performed three times during fattening, the basic categories of behaviour (rest, eating, standing, movement) and frequency categories of behaviour (play, aggressive behaviour) were observed. Changes in the basic categories of behaviour began to appear in the middle of fattening. Pigs from the experimental group rested and stood for longer period. On the other hand, pigs from the control group were moving more. From the beginning of the fattening there was a big difference between the game and the aggressive behaviour. The pigs in the control group gradually ceased to play the game and aggressive behaviour was increasing. Contrary to control group the frequency of play increased during fattening and the aggressive behaviour gradually decreased in the experimental group. However, there was no complete elimination of aggressive behaviour. Cannibalism in the form of barked tails appeared only in the control group at the end of fattening.
This diploma thesis aims to measure the harmful gas emissions and evaluate methods and technologies used in an observed fattening pigs company. Subsequently observed methods and technologies are compared with best available techniques BATs and economically evaluated. The thesis contains three hypotheses. 1. Do measured production emissions of ammonia from the selected plant comply with the limits and recommendation of EU directives? 2. Is the applied BAT suitable from the economical point of view even for Czech agriculturists? 3. Do measured values comply with the decrease of ammonia levels according to the calculated decrease in the BREF document? The measured values and subsequent evaluation show that the production emissions of ammonia comply with the EU directives. However, the measured ammonia emissions are significantly lower than the theoretical values calculated according to the legislation that takes into account the used technology. BAT-reducing technologies used in the plant are suitable for Czech agriculturists.
New agricultural building - piggery
BUSTA, Ondřej
The theme of this thesis is the design of new agricultural building - piggery. The first part is devoted to the historical development solutions and functional principles of arrangement an overview of the material and structural solutions for these buildings. The second part concerns the proposal of a brand new building in a particular municipality on the real plot.
Farms for fattening pigs in terms of noise emitted into the environment.
PAČKA, Jiří
Protecting the environment is one of the most important tasks of the late twentieth and early twenty-first century. Noise is in addition to much more tangible pollution of air and water also one of the environmental hazard. Usage of mechanization at the pig breeding causes noise pollution so the main task of this bachelor thesis was to measure the spread of noise from the near stalls . Measure values and compare them with the prevailing regulatory and health standards and than use formulas to determine minimum, maximum and equivalent sound levels. Then these measured values evaluate and determine whether or not it exceed the maximum noise levels. In the case when standards are exceeded, design measures to reduce noise.
