Optimalization of Exhaust Manifold for SI Engine
Prášek, Martin ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on optimizing existing or proposal for a new exhaust tracts on the Volkswagen Polo moving series rally-cross A1 division. The car is powered by concern, water-cooled, atmospheric engine capacity 1599 ccm. To achieve the objectives of the lessons are applied as a theoretical nature (analytical calculation), especially the advanced approaches of the software environment from the firm Lotus. Exhaust treatment systems are designed to suit all rules FIA Sports Association.
Influence of the exhaust pipe on the speed characteristic of the four-stroke motorcycle engine
Nádvorník, David ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Smolka, Josef (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is a summary of the knowledge about the exhaust pipe of the motorcycle and its influence on the power and torque of the engine. Further, the bachelor thesis focuses on additional exhaust pipe systems which help to optimize the torque and engine performance. At the end of the thesis are included the results from the experimental measurement dealing with the influence of the exhaust silencer on the curves of the engine speed curve.
Engine Exhaust Manifold for Formule SAE
Chlíbek, Lukáš ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Diploma thesis is bent on engineering design exhaust manifold for motor Formula SAE. Drive unit is here used atmospheric water-cooled gas- engine from motorcycle Yamaha YZF R6, 2005 model year. The design of the exhaust manifold is drawn to fulfil Formula SAE conditions.

Stress-strain Analysis of Tractor Exhaust Tail-pipe
Lébl, Jan ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the strength and frequency analysis of tractor exhaust pipe, which is being developed as an economic alternative in the preparation of construction for use in convertible tractor’s in the Zetor Tractors company. First, modal analysis is performed to determine the natural frequency of the exhaust pipe. In the next section it deals with stress-strain analysis to assess the overall structural strength of the exhaust pipe. At the end is performed thermodynamic analysis to assess the thermal resistance. For these calculations was used the finite element method (FEM) using computing software ANSYS 13.
