Methods for reliability analysis
Ptáčková, Ludmila ; Krbalová, Maria (referee) ; Řezníčková, Hana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with methods of reliability analysis. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the most frequently used methods of reliability analysis. Subsequently, one of these methods was selected, namely the FMEA method, and applied in practice. As part of the practical part of the work, SCHOTT CR, s.r.o. In Lanskroun, PFMEA has been updated to the drilling process for a specific product. At the end of the thesis is mentioned the possibility of using APIS IQ program for creation of PFMEA writing.
Risk of spare part of machines and equipment inventory control in decommissioning
Jirka, Lukáš ; Řezníčková, Hana (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of a suitable approach for managing the supply of spare parts for machines approaching decommissioning. The appropriate balance between outstanding risks related to equipment downtime and costs of holding spare parts is predicted by proposed systematic algorithm. Determination of key parameters affecting the whole process of spare parts inventory management and their subsequent use as a basis for Event Tree Analysis lead to finding an optimum set-up, which mitigates the overall impact of the planned reduction in spare parts storage levels. The new approach has a number of advantages including versatility of application for many types of machines, as well as a different outlook on a solution for the current issue in spare parts management.
Risk Management Support System
Hošták, Martin ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The thesis deals with project management body of knowledge with focus on a risk management. It explained the importance of risk management in software developing projects. Risk management cycle and used methodology is described. The core unit of second part is requirements analysis for risk management support system, description of the application via UML and implementation of application which was created in development environment NetBeans IDE 6.5 in Java language. Conclusion of my thesis contains a short summary and possible way of extension.

Techniques and instruments of decision making under risk for one-phase decision problems.
Horčička, Jan ; Švecová, Lenka (advisor) ; Fotr, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is focused on decision models for decision making under risk and uncertainty. The thesis should give a comprehensive insight about individual decision criteria and the reader should form a clear picture about usability of these models for solving particular decision problems. The thesis tries to provide objective point of view to the reader with highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each model. In the frame of decision making under risk, the thesis mentions the expected value rule, the rule of expected value and variance and the stochastic dominance rules. For the field of decision making under uncertainty, the thesis brings up the Laplace's criterion, the Hurwicz's criterion and Savage's regret criterion. The thesis further deal with the theory of expected utility. It brings up the method of construction of the utility curve, methods of usage and also known deficiencies of the theory when used in real world situations. In connection with utility theory, the thesis introduces the expected utility rule. For mapping future development, the thesis work with probability trees and explains their usability for modeling situations under risk and uncertainty. For all of the featured decision criteria, the work shows their applicative usage by using a prefigurative example. The reader should therefore know, how to proceed when using mentioned models for solving real decision problems.
