4 ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis focuses on the corporate social responsibility from the perspective of the human resources management. The thesis introduces the concept of corporate social responsibility, describes evolution of this concept and summarizes its main characteristics. In the context of current and expected development the thesis emphasizes the connection between the corporate social responsibility and human resources management, considers the role of human resources professionals and line managers in applying responsible practices in HR and suggests possible ways of integrating the corporate social responsibility values in human resources management practice. It also outlines the process of implementing the corporate social responsibility within an organization and ways of evaluating associated benefits.
