Life quality observation in people with anaemia
PŘIBYLOVÁ, Michaela
The content of my bachelor thesis of the topic Life quality observation in people with anaemia, concerns the disease description and further I dedicate to the comparison of anaemia diagnosed in a laboratory with patient's problems. On the basis of a questionairre completed by patients as well as the blood picture, I focus on the question whether the range of inconvenience in people with aneamia corresponds approximately to the seriousness of anaemia, whether this disease is influenced by age and other additional dieseases. Furthermore, I deal with the issue if nowadays, in a technologically oriented period, when the analysis of the blood picture nad other cell parametres are performed on advanced modern equipment, also blood smear microscopic examination may help in anaemia diagnosis. After the statistical evaluation of patients' questionairres, I can state what is the relation between the seriousness of anaemia and patient's clinical inconvenience. Thanks to the questionairre information I can then identify the factors which significantly influence this relation.
Determination of blood counts at sideropenic anemia, and monitoring depending on the outcome rate of iron absorption
PANOCHOVÁ, Daniela
Sideropenic anemia (iron deficiency anemia) is the most common anemia all over the world. The cause of this anemia type is lack of iron. This thesis deals with the determination of blood picture treatment results and iron absorption in patients with sideropenic anemia. In the practical part, the methods of blood picture determination as well as iron determination and the resorption curve are described. The blood picture is provided at the Clinical Haematology Ward of the České Budějovice Hospital, Corp. on the analyzer of company Beckman- Coulter Counter LH 455. Iron levels are provided in the laboratory of Clinical Chemistry of České Budějovice Hospital, Corp on the analyzer Advia. The primary goal of this thesis was proven; absorption has a significant impact on the effect of peroral treatment.
Seasonal dynamics of selected blood parametres of selected flesh breeds of sheep bred in foothills conditions
ŽÁČKOVÁ, Klára
Sheep breeding is nowadays a developing branch of agriculture again. There is a lot of different breed and they react distinctly on the same conditions of the enviroment. Sheep of breeds charollais, suffolk, šumavská ovce and valaška bred in similar conditions were observed in spring and autumn of years 2007 and 2008. In these seasons were taking blood samples (from {$\pm$}7{--}24) ewes and lambs and were analyzed in hematology laboratory. There were determined haemoglobin level, haematocrit indicator, erytrocytes and leucocytes levels, glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides levels, urea and plasmatic proteins, activity of ALP and GMT enzymes, phosphor, calcium, magnesium, zinc and copper levels. The main objective of this project was determine seasonal changes in observed parametres. Next objectives were determine different changes in blood parametres in different breeds and different aimes of breeds. There were recognized that all the observed breeds don`t react the same way on similar conditions. There were not provably determined seasonal changes in observed parametres, but average Hb level was higher in autumn than in spring. Urea level was conversely higher in spring season than in autumn. The demostrable fact is, that the similar conditions induce different answers not only in different breeds but also in different aimes of breeds.
Polyploidy in sturgeons
SRP, Jiří
The aim was to study the theoretical backgrounds of sturgeon fish genetics, focusing on aspects of polyploidy cytogenetics and to learn basics of reproduction and rearing of sturgeon fish in conditions of Central European aquaculture. The work describes an overview of methods for determining ploidy levels in fish, methods of artificial reproduction, methods of fish marking, sampling and evaluation of population samples for cytogenetic analysis. The experimental part dealt with samples of different sturgeon species and their hybrids, and the effects of spontaneous polyploidy and interspecific hybridization on biodiversity conservation of these endangered species were discussed.
Noninvasive treatment of tinnitus
AMBROŽOVÁ, Anna
Bachelor thesis "Noninvasive treatment of tinnitus".Tinnitus can be perceived in one or both ears or in the head. It is usually described as a ringing noise, but in some patients it takes the form of a high pitched whining, buzzing, hissing, humming, or whistling sound. Subject may hear a sound, such as a ringing or roaring, that does not come from his/her surroundings (nobody else can hear it). (13)The main target of this work is the estimation of the efficiency of the treatment by electro-stimulative instrument Ti - ex (combined treatment) and its comparison with infusion treatment.
