Carbon tax (tax on CO2 emissions) in EU Member States: Study 2.095

Czech Republic will be able to meet the strategic objective of 13% of energy from renewable sources by 2020?
Piňková, Lucia ; Slavíková, Lenka (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess whether the Czech Republic will be able to meet the European Commission's strategic goal of producing 13 % of the domestic electricity consumption from renewable resources in 2020. Based on my estimation of electricity consumption, utilization and useable potential of each renewable resource, I will calculate the maximum amount of electricity (in TWh per year), which can be produced from renewable resources in the Czech Republic. Consequently, I will also highlight what should be the potential investment to meet the strategic goal.
