Design and construction of sensing part of the cimbalon
Nop, Patrik ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This term paper focuses on the design of several possible methods of electroacoustic transduction (further called pickup), specifically of virtual strings of the electronic cimbalom. The paper is based on the problems associated with the classical cimbalom’s design, as well as with its method of tone production. For each of the proposed methods I have made use of my own experiences with guitar pickup, laser harp function, MIDI controller capabilities, and the properties of electret microphones. Most of the methods are ones that I developed and tested in practice, some of which I am still working on and will include in my subsequent Bachelor’s thesis.
Tremometer
Mičánková, Veronika ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis analyzes tremor as a movement disorder and shows its relations to diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, which is therefore described more in detail. The other part of the work consists of a brief analysis on the physical sensors of vibrations and other methods that can be used to detect vibrations. Practical part is divided into two. First one describes a design of a tremometer and its constructing and the other one describes realization of a program for evaluation of tremor.
Sound Detection System
Saprykin, Yaroslav ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the developing sound detection system. Developing simple algorithm of detection breaking glass based on FFT and Goertzel algorithms. Part of practice realization of algorithm is application FIR filter. Acquaintance with the method DTW and verification of theoretical knowledges on the example of comparison sound samples of birds. Implementation of created algorithm of breaking glass detection to microcontroller based on development platform FRDM-KL25Z by Freescale. Terminal equipment of system are designed a practical realization module with electet microphone. Detection algorithm implementation in C++.
