JIROUT, Jiří
This thesis deals with the technology of feeding and pig's nutrition in the fattening. The work is focused on determining the ideal content of necessary nutrients in the feed ratio and also on the suitability of using of different types of feed with regard to the economy and performance of pigs. The work presents a real example of the design of the feed ratio of fattened pigs, including the feed curve and the composition of the feed recipe. Furthermore feeding systems used so far, but also newly introduced and factors that affect the performance parameters in in fattening pigs are described.
Ekonomické souvislosti výroby mléka konkrétního podniku
Maršálková, Lucie
The aim of the thesis "The Economic Context of Dairy Production in a Specific Enterprise" is to analyze cattle breeding in a selected farm. The thesis deals with the analysis of an agrarian sector, the breakdown of a commodity chain of milk and the prices development within a commodity chain. It also deals with breeding of milking cattle in the Czech Republic and it describes indicators that affect the breeding. The economic analysis of milking cattle breeding in a selected company was created for the years 2012-2016. The analysis deals with the testing the quantity of the produced milk, its quality and purchase prices. In addition, the herd turnover is considered and all the costs and incomes of the breeding are analyzed. Despite the fact that the average milk yield increased in the company in the monitored period and the milk reached excellent values of fats and proteins, the breeding of milking cattle was loss-making, even after the subsidies were figured in.
Komplexní zhodnocení živočišné výroby v zemědělském podniku s ohledem na ekonomiku výživy a odchovu jednotlivých kategorií skotu
JANATA, Martin
In the diploma thesis on the complex evaluation of livestock production in the farm with regard to the nutrition and rearing economy of individual categories of cattle, a theoretical and practical part was elaborated. The work was carried out in the company JINOS - AGRO s.r.o., which has animal production focused on breeding Holstein cattle and milk production. The theoretical part of the thesis deals generally with cattle breeding, economy of cattle breeding, animal welfare, bulky feed and compound feed. In the practical part I evaluated the analysis of large feeds, composition and price of feed ration, rearing of individual groups of cattle, milk yield, milk price development and breeding economy. The data obtained in 2014-2018 were evaluated in the thesis.
Vliv technologie ustájení na mléčnou užitkovost a ekonomiku chovu dojnic českého strakatého skotu
Bezstarostiová, Martina
The aim of bachelor thesis was to assess impact stabling technology on milk production and economy of breeding of Czech Fleckvieh cattle in three economic cooperatives with a different type of stabling technology. The first section was devoted to literary review; we focused on the characteristics of the Czech Fleckvieh cattle, then on technology of stabling and economy of breeding. In the practical part, we are pursuing three selected farms in terms of milk production and the economics of farming. Compared to obtained data, the volume of fat, protein, somatic cells and total amount of microorganisms in milk, costs connected with the technology of stabling and other costs connected with the breeding of dairy cattle. Based on the results the most economical technology for breeding of dairy cattle was evaluated. Out of the farms in scope came out best the farm with boxes and straw. Milk production was 20.5 kg of milk per cow a day, with satisfactory quantity and content of milk components. From the economic point of view it has the lowest total cost of stabling cows. The results of bachelor thesis will serve to the monitored farms, as an example of strengths and weaknesses of their technology of stabling.
Economics of Rat Breeding
Kober, David ; Malý, Michal (advisor) ; Michal, Michal (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with professional breeding of brown rat, processes selected economic indicators upon which the economic aspects of breeding is evaluated. The breeding includes 252 adult breeding animals stabled in system of intermittent polygamy. Theoretical part is pressenting economic factors which are necessary to analyse the breeding, further creating an overview of the basic biology of rat, breeding technology and methods of breeding. In the practical part the selected economic indicators are applied to a particular breed. Practical part focuses on the economic comparison of the two most common ways of brown rat breeding, intermittent polygamy and permanent monogamy. When using intermittent polygamy advantage is in having a low number of males in the breeding, on the other hand permanent monogamy is shortening the production cycle of females that leads to greater productivity of females. Based on the evaluation and comparison of economic indicators for the mentioned breeding methods the economical way of breeding is uniquely identified to be intermittent polygamy. Both breeding methods are cost-effective, permanent monogamy but considerably less. In conclusion the most important findings of the issues affecting the economy of brown rats breeding are summarized.
Vliv rozdílné strategie na produkční parametry v intenzivním chovu lososovitých ryb
Bláha, Martin
The aim of this diploma thesis was to elaborate the overview of applied strategies in salmonid rearing under the conditions of intensive aquaculture systems and to evaluate their production effect. Two feeding tests run within the NAZV program QJ1210013. The first feeding test was carried out from 15th May to 12th June 2014 in the Department of Fisheries and Hydrobiology, MENDELU. For this feeding test monosex female population of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) was included. Two types of dry food were administered ALLER AQUA -- ALLER SILVER and BioMar -- INICIO 918. The second feeding test was carried out from 11th June to 3rd September in the salmon farm in Pravíkov (BioFish company). To this feeding test, crossbreeds of brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis) and arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus) were included. Two types of dry food were administered ALLER AQUA -- ALLER GOLD and BioMar -- EFICO ENVIRO 920. The length-weight parameters of individual fish were measured at the beginning and at the end of tests. The amount of administered feeds was recorded. Also basic physico-chemical properties of water were monitored. At the end of these tests the production (FCR, SGR, PER, etc.) and economy parameters were evaluated. The most favourable FCR (0,63) was achieved in the crossbreeds of brook trout and arctic char fed by ALLER GOLD. The most rapid growth of fish (SGR = 3,68) was achieved in the fish of monosex female population of rainbow trout fed by INICIO 918. The greatest yield (3 700 CZK per 1m3 of water) was achieved in crossbreeds of brook trout and arctic char fed by EFICO ENVIRO 920, when fed costs were 1 487 CZK per 1m3.
Sheep breeding in conditions organic and conventional farming
HOMOLKOVÁ, Monika
Sheep husbandry has been rising for a long time in the Czech Republic. The number of flocks of sheep has been increasing gradually, which is an evidence of their popularity among breeders. Thanks to the hardiness of sheep, their breeding is mostly concentrated in the mountaneous an submontaneous areas where they are utilized not only for prime meat or milk production but also for mainaining the landscape. The goal of my thesis is to evaluate sheep husbandry at two farms managed under conventional and ecological conditions respectively, in the submontaneous area of Southern Bohemia. The distance between the two farms is approximately 1.5 km. The same indicators ( ewe reproduction, flock management, nutrition, pasture methods and system of breeding) were examined at both farms. The data were observed during the period of two years ? 2011 and 1012.
The factors affecting the production and economic results of beef cattle
KRÁLOVÁ, Alena
The highest costs for breeding cows for non-milk production are the feed costs that represent 39% of total cots. The second costs are the labour costs. Incomes from sold slaughter- and fattening-calves are the second highest incomes. These incomes do not cover total costs of the breeding so this business would not be feasible without state grants (the highest incomes). The economic system is affected mainly by fertility of the herd. A good fertility is considered as breeding 90 (or more) calves regarding to 100 cows. In case of calf death or cow without calf are the breeding cost practically not affected but the expected incomes are not realized.
Analysis of the meat performance of Sumava sheep in herd Michlova Huť
NOVÁKOVÁ, Iva
At the present time in Czech Republic we can see a growing number of sheep farming focused on meat performance. Sheep´s meat has a high quality and we can expect much higher demand for this product in the future despite its minimal present consumption in Czech Republic. Predominant concentration on meat performance of sheep is caused by sheep farmers through several factors that are modesty of meat breed, relatively easy farming technology and a wide range of marketing opportunities. At the same time it´s possible to combine this breeding way with the breeding of other animals and with various profit-making activities. The goal of this Bachelor thesis was an analysis of the meat performance level in herd of Sumava sheep in Michlova Huť. For this purpose I used information from the year 2009, 2010 and 2011, from which I deduced conclusions about this Sumava sheep farming. Based on these results the basic breeder recommendations to breeder community were deduced. Based on this analysis I found out, that the greatest average daily mass increase reached lambs in the year 2010 while the smallest values were noted in the year 2011. Concretely we see than the value of meat performance 216, 39 g/day in 2010 and the value 161, 25 g/day in 2011. The next conclusion is that there was no significant influence of paternal line on lamb´s meat performance during the observed period (2009, 2010 and 2011). Breed´s economy is on this farm very advantageous because there is the sheep farming combined with the raising livestock and other different services in the agriculture part. At the same time there are preferred the long-term strategies connected with the effectiveness and productivity of labour on farm Michlova Huť.
