Drobný, Adam ; Stellner, František (advisor) ; Szobi, Pavel (referee)
In the second half of 20th century, Europe was recovering from world wars and it looked like everything bad is behind us. But it wasn't the case of Eastern Europe states, which became the soviet satellite states. In USSR, there were tough life conditions - not only lack of freedom, censorship etc., but at the end of 70s there were raising economic problems. The "dark age" started, which has been ended by Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev. This paper focuses on reaction of Czechoslovak leadership to Gorbachev and his policy. The purpose is to analyze the attitude of Czechoslovak leadership to the new economic reforms.
