History and the arts in Chateau Tovačov in the time of Ctibor Tovačovský of Cimburk

Bachelor thesis "History and the Arts Chateau Tovačov Ctibor Tovačovský of Cimburk" is devoted to the period when in the late Gothic period the first glimpses of the early Renaissance style are beginning to discover in Moravia. The work includes development of the Moravian noble family of Cimburk and theirs gradual getting into the front lines of the Moravian nobility and acquisition of various statesmen functions. The first reliable location with used early Renaissance elements became the castle of Ctibor Tovačovský Cimburk Tovačov. Ctibor Tovačov of Cimburk was the first, who invited Buda artist from Italy where the Renaissance style had strong roots. The work contains descriptions and opinions of scholars of individual Renaissance architectural elements.
