Kajtmanová, Alžběta ; Kursch, Martin (advisor) ; Krámský, David (referee)
This thesis focuses on the effect of the covid-19 pandemic on education at a selected primary school from the point of view of teachers during the first and second wave. It focuses on defining the concepts such as distance learning, e-learning, digital technologies and platforms. The work reflects how the Czech education system was affected from March 2020 to May 2021. The theoretical part focuses on the theoretical conception of terms that are associated with the pandemic and distance learning, but also with the concept of socialization and communication, which were greatly affected during the pandemic, especially when it comes to children. The research part was then carried out with the help of a semi-structured interview, which was conducted at a selected primary school in groups with four teachers. One of the most fundamental questions of the whole interview was the greatness of the pandemic`s effect on the pupils and the teachers of this particular primary school.
