Optimal control of intersection signaling
Tinka, Petr ; Šoustek, Petr (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This master´s thesis is about the control of a traffic light. In the first, theoretical part of this work, a description of this problem introduce. The following is an overview of the optimization methods used for this problem. The practical part deals with the modeling of the network of traffic lights in program SUMO and the implementation of selected optimization methods on this. Finally, a comparison of results is made.
Mathematical models in logistics
Nevrlý, Vlastimír ; Holešovský, Jan (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to model and generate test transportation networks, which are similar to real-world waste management networks. Several software tools (Mathematica, GAMS, Excel, VBA) are used to develop suitable procedures. The next task is to analyze dependence of computational complexity on the size of network by using statistical test computations. The existing original optimization model called NERUDA that supports decision-making in the eld of waste management is utilized. The obtained results are processed, analysed and interpreted in detail.
Transport Network Optimization
Všetečka, Martin ; Kampf,, Rudolf (referee) ; Přibyl,, Pavel (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The thesis proposes an optimization algorithm used a genetic algorithm. Optimization problem is demonstrated on issues of left turn which meets the requirements for systematic optimization - complexity of the problem, which can not be solved analytically, and the possibility of using templates, which enable automation of design and calculation of all variants.
Transport infrastructure in the Moravian-Silesian region
Grossmannová, Michaela ; Kocourková, Gabriela (referee) ; Vaňková, Lucie (advisor)
The topic of diploma thesis is transport infrastructure in Moravian Silesian region. The thesis is separate to theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on region characteristics, regional development and transport infrastructure including financing. The practical part is focused on analysis transport infrastructure in Moravian Silesian region, which is mapped and described in detail. Using the knowledge from the theoretical part, the outcome is described impact of transport infrastructure on the region development.

Keeping linear objects of transport and river networks
Vojtíšková, Zuzana ; Šára, Pavel (advisor) ; Kufner, Jan (referee)
The goal of this work is to describe and evaluate keeping linear objects of transport and river networks. The first part is devoted to objects with line geometry in some Czech and foreign databases, the method of keeping them is described and evaluated using examples of some Czech databases. Some terms related with the topic of the bachelor thesis are described before the practical part in which a way of keeping the networks is suggested and realized.
