Ceiling concrete slab in an industrial building
Revayová, Veronika ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the reinforced concrete slabs crosswise armed on a square plan. The supporting structure is made of reinforced concrete columns with massive bearers. It is a reinforced armoured concrete skeleton. The thesis solves various approaches to the computational models and their subsequent comparison. The hand-operated models with models with SCIA engineer 16.0 are compared in the work. The goal was to reinforce the slabs efficiently and determine the approximate variable load pressure that could be encountered during operation. Depending on the measured deflection, it is also important to find the reinforcement that might be present in these slabs. Other parts of the object are not concerned in this work.
The bizarre sensation of real
Zacharová, Dominika ; Spáčilová Blažková, Kateřina (referee) ; Gravlejs, Ivars (advisor)
This work explores the subjective nature of reality. Our view of reality evolves with our surroundings and shapes our unique image of the world. Although a complete escape from reality seems unattainable, we try to look for moments in which we might slow down in an endless stream of events and phenomenons. One of these is the induction of relaxation, which acts as a temporary release from physical and mental stress, even if the actual escape is only temporary. By incorporating works into this space that carry with them a certain disturbing element, I seek to provoke an uncertainty or surprise in the viewers . The work creates situations that confront viewers with an unexpected experience in a seemingly relaxing environment. Which is induced by the appearance of the objects.

The Analysis of Chosen Economic Sectors in the Sharing Economy and its Consequences on the Traditional Sectors in the Economy of Czech Republic in the Years 2008 - 2014.
Dvořáčková, Karolína ; Štípek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Klepek, Cyril (referee)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the consequences of the existence of the sharing economy in three specific economic sectors: individual transportation, tourism and the sector of finance. The secondary aim is to assess the emergence of new trends on the labour market and the overall impact of the sharing economy on GDP and tax revenues In the theoretical section I propose a definition and introduce the global social- economic context, which helped the growth of this new economic model. I also describe key principles that facilitated the rise of the sharing economy in most economic sectors. The practical section is devoted to the existence of the sharing economy in the Czech Republic. It is composed of various analyses of existing sharing platforms on Czech markets that leads to an overall conclusion on the outcomes on GDP, labour trends and tax revenues. The results indicate that the sharing economy in the Czech Republic causes so far very little disruption to existing models and its overall impact on the countrys economy is fairly insignificant. However results also show that the potential of this new economic model to be the fuel for future economic growth is substantial if the country succeeds to create a suitable economic, legislative and social environment.
