Václavík, Milan ; Řezníček, Václav (advisor) ; Smutný, Zdeněk (referee)
The Bachelor thesis focuses on the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the process of sharing knowledge in school environment. The main objectives of the work are identifying difficulties that were caused during the process of sharing knowledge and proposing recommendations how to avoid them. The targets of the thesis are achieved by studying information sources, interviewing students and discharging participant observation. The thesis consists of several parts. The theoretical part aims to define terms like data, information and mainly knowledge. Sharing, as an activity through which knowledge is exchanged among people, is reflected from different points of view, including knowledge management, school environment, ICT perspectives. Afterwards, the thesis provides a description of ICT tools that are heavily used for knowledge sharing by students. Tools were also selected on the basis of interviews, which is another important part of the work. Research shows that main difficulties in sharing knowledge with ICT lie in quality of knowledge which is just shared. Therefore, suggested recommendations mainly relate to these issues. Primary purpose of the thesis is to provide guidance to students how to effectively share knowledge with the aid of ICT tools.
