Fully-differential frequency filters with nontraditional active elements
Dvořák, Jan ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with designs of fully-differential frequency filters which operate in current mode where it is possible to control their parameters by change the transconductance or the amplification. The first part divides and describes in general frequency filters. Furthermore, there are described active elements together with their simple simulation models. The second part describes the design of frequency filter by M-C signal-flow graph and methods of transforming final circuit to fully-differential structure. Next part presents several structures of the second-order filter with their simulations in non-differential and fully-differential forms. Last part presents designs of boards of printed circuits and measurement results of two chosen circuits.
Analysis of methods of measurement of fully-differential frequency filters
Kučera, Tomáš ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on measurements methods of differential frequency -selection filters with active elements in current mode. Firstly it describes differential frequency-selection filters in current mode and conversions from voltage to current mode. Next the thesis deals with measuring of particular voltage converters to differential current and back from differential current to voltage, which is an integral part for measurements of differential frequency-selection filters in current mode. For design of particular converters there was used program OrCAD there and subsequent simulation was executed in program PSpice.
Pseudo-differential higher-order frequency filters
Jeleček, Jiří ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Sládok, Ondřej (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with pseudo-differential frequency higher order filters working in voltage mode. The thesis deals with the description of frequency filters, their types and applications. Follows an analysis of differential and pseudo-differential transmissions. Next part contains a description of used active elements (conveyors) at thesis (CCII, DVCC, DDCC, UCC). In the last part the thesis is devoted to the own design of the pseudo-differential filter. Design functionality is verified by experimental simulation.
Differential and pseudo-differential frequency filters
Sládok, Ondřej ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with fully differential and pseudo-differential frequency filters. Significant emphasis is placed on the characteristics of common-mode signal. Further, the text deals with the design issue of fully-differential structure and transformation of non-differential to pseudo-differential structures. In the thesis one non-differential structure, one fully-differential and three pseudo-differential structures are proposed, one of them working in current mode. The thesis also describes the analysis from the perspective of non-ideal properties of the active element of two circuit solutions, which is trying to find the optimal solution. In each case, functionality of new solutions is verified by simulations and in several cases also by experimental measurement.
Analysis of methods of measurement of fully-differential frequency filters
Kučera, Tomáš ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is analysing methods of measuring of differential frequency-selection filters with usage of active elements especially in current mode. Firstly it describes techniques of scheme of differential frequency-selection filters in current mode and conversions of linkage from voltage to current mode. Next the thesis aims at methods of measuring of particular voltage converters to differential current and back from differential current to voltage, which are an integral part for measurements of differential frequency-selection filters in current mode. For verification of characteristics of solutions designed separately as well as in cascade with particular solvent of frequency-selection filter there were used simulation instruments SNAP and OrCAD there, chosen resolutions were constructed and its characteristics were checked during laboratory test.
Differential structures of linear circuits using DDCCs and DVCCs
Sládok, Ondřej ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the differential structures of the linear circuits with DVCCs and DDCCs elements. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the description of the frequency filters. Significant emphasis is put on the active current conveyors. Futhermore, the text focuces on issue of differential structures. The main aim is the transformation of the nondifferential structure to the differential structure using the differential current conveyores and the comparison with the nondifferencial structure.
Frequency filters with difference current amplifier
Jirounek, Matěj ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the differential filters working in the current mode. It is dealt with the design methodologies of these filters and conversion circuits from voltage to current mode. Own work deals with 4 types of differential participation of structures. In this work there has been used programs SNAP and OrCAD. These programs were used for simulations of filters to proposed proper design. Results from this thesis is showed by graphs.
