Title: Communication between instructor and student in swimming lessons for persons with visual impairment Objectives: The goal of this bachelor`s thesis was analysing the communication between instructor and a student with visual impairment in swimming lessons. The knowledge gained will contribute to the objectification of ideas about the activity of the instructor and his communication during swimming lessons for persons with visual impairment. Methods: In this these, we used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The observation was used when the main researcher of the these attended the swimming lesson of person with visual impairment. Data collection was done through video and audio recording. An analysis of these recordings was made using non-participant observation. Subsequent coding and evaluation of the swimming lesson was made with the method of modified analysis of didactic interaction (MADI). Furthermore, the method of interviewing was used with a person with visual impairment. Results: From the result of the research, it is evident that the form of instruction prevailed in the swimming lesson of the swimming instructor. The second most common subcategory was correction, followed by feedback. The subject of didactic interaction was most often classroom activities. Of the...

Říha, Jakub ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Analysis of Didactic Interaction in Group Skiing Lessons for Adults Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to perform detailed analysis and comparison of the didactic teacher - student interaction during adult skiing lessons between two instructors with the same level of experience but different educational background. Methods: In our research we have employed a participant observation method using classification into a category system based on a standardised MADI (Modified Analysis of Didactic Interaction) technique. This includes 7 categories describing the forms of the teacher's behaviour, the didactic content of the lessons, didactic situations, and attitudinal characteristics. Results: The results of the study confirmed, among others, a higher incidence of the two most effective forms of teacher behaviour (correction and feedback information provision) in the instructor with pedagogical education, which was associated with a higher quality of the teaching process. Keywords: teaching, skiing, instructor, didactic interaction, analysis, ADI, MADI

Nováková, Linda ; Hubená, Kristýna (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: Didactic interaction in swimming lessons for children with autism spectrum disorders Objectives: The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to describe and analyze the interaction profile of two instructors (a begginer in comparison with a senior instructor with many years of experience), leading a swimming lesson for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and in doing so, to contribute to the objectification of the conceptions about didactic interaction in aquatic motion lessons for children with ASD. Methods: The entire research was carried out in combination of both kvalitative and kvantitave methods. The observation was made during direct attendance of children with autism spectrum disorders at swimming lessons. Videorecords were made from two of these lessons. The videorecords were analysed by an unbiased observation. Subsequent coding of each individual swimming lesson was made with the method of modified analysis of didactic interaction (MADI). Results: From the research results it is apparent, that from the behavioral patterns, intructions prevailed for both instructors. Second most frequent subcategory for instructor 01 was correction, and for instructor 02 reception. The most used form of expresion for both instructors was speech and speech with body movements. Hubená, Kristýna ; Süss, Vladimír (advisor) ; Mužík, Vladislav (referee)
Title: Diagnostics of didactic competencies of students of UK FTVS. Objectives: The goal of the dissertation was to verify whether the chosen combination of quantitative and qualitative methods is suitable for the diagnostics of the didactic competencies of the students of the UK FTVS in swimming didactics. Methods: The research was supported by a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Participating observation was used in direct participation in the didactic outputs of students. Data collection was done by acquiring audio and video recordings of students' didactic outputs within the subject of Theory and Basics of Swimming Didactics at the UK FTVS, by a questionnaire and group interviews with students who were in the role of "pupils" during didactic outputs. Through an uninvolved observation, the analysis of video recordings of students' didactic outputs was made. Coding of individual didactic outputs of students was done through modified analysis of didactic interaction (MADI). Descriptive statistics was used to encode and process data from questionnaires. Then the transcript of group conversations from electronic form to written was done by transcription. From the partial results of the MADI method, questionnaires and group interviews, case studies of five selected...
