Problems of financing tourism development in selected destination

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of financing the development of tourism in the Czech Canada destination, which is located in South Bohemia. The aim of the research is to find new possibilities for financing tourism in the tourist area. Detailed terms are defined here - tourism, destination and destination management, followed by a description of the management tourism and organization in Czech republic and a description of the selected tourist area. The main theme of my diploma thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of the tourism financing. My work deals with financial sources which flow to the development of tourism in Czech Canada. Based on the analysis there are other possible ways of the tourism cooperation and funding suggested.
Analysis of tourism in Český Krumlov and its surroundings

Tourism is one of the most dynamic parts of the service sector in the national economy. This research analyzes the current state of tourism in Český Krumlov and its surroundings, especially the incoming tourism of domestic clients. The intensity of tourism in a specific destination increases exponentially and brings its positives and negatives. The thesis describes specific factors that affect the current situation. The basic elements of the analysis are supply of the destination, thus attractiveness and amenities of the destination, and demand that creates the very destination of tourism. The aspects characterizing the current state of tourism are specified according to the data collected from the survey.The investigation aims to evaluate the subsequent procedures leading to the development of tourism and to satisfy the increasing needs of domestic tourists. Among other things, the thesis presents tools and products, which can be used to achieve further development of tourism in the destination.

Prague, the Czech capital, is compared to other capitals in the region - Berlin, Vienna, Bratislava, Warsaw, and Budapest. The research is focused especially on a comparison between Prague on the one hand and Vienna and Budapest on the other in the period 2003-2011. For the research presented in the submitted thesis, secondary data from national statistical offices of the selected countries and specialized statistical databases were used. This quantitative research has been combined with qualitative studies. Since 1989, Prague has transformed from a destination of "former Eastern bloc" into a destination comparable with major cities of Western Europe. The development of tourism in Prague has been rapid and misbalanced. Tourism impact on Prague is higher than in other capitals of Central Europe, especially in its historical centre. Tourism of Northern Sweden

The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to evaluate the current situation of tourism in Northern Sweden. The theoretical part defines basic terms of tourism and describes its forms that are most relevant to the given region. The beginning of the practical part deals with the description of Sweden, with the development of local tourism and with the current conditions. Subsequently, the thesis focuses on offered attractions and, the development and the structure of visitors. Afterwards, the last part uses PEST and SWOT analysis for general assessment of the given region. In the end, Northern Sweden is compared to both, the rest of the country and to the neighbouring parts of Norway and Finland.

Revitalization project of cultural monument in tourism

The first part of the thesis was focused on the theoretical background. The process was a literature review that focuses on project management, clarifies the position of cultural tourism and regional development programs.The second part consists of the analysis of the surrounding monuments, potential competition and a field survey. Field survey consisted of structured interviews and questionnaires of visitors. Results of the field survey have been a source of information that were used for suggestion of the possibilities of the use of this monument and for preparation of the revitalization project. The main aim of the project is to use the castle Bezděkov for the operation of cultural activities to promote tourism and business in the region. The project aim is to restore the viability and sustainability of the use of the building. The project was prepared in the organizational and financial level.

The project for the use regional inland waterway transport for tourism

The main aim of this thesis was to analyze evaluate the possibility of using regional inland waterway transport for tourism. The thesis dealt with the newly navigable Vltava in South Bohemia, which was part of the state project "Completion of Vltava waterway in the section Ceske Budejovice - Tyn nad Vltavou". It was elaborate the situation analysis and realization of own exploration by means of structured interviews and survey. Based on the obtained data were created proposals to improve current situation. The main contribution of this thesis is the efficient interconnection of these suggestions would significantly increase the attractiveness of the whole idea navigable Vltava river for tourism. The most important output of the thesis is the elaboration of the project "Modernization of steamers on the Vltava river in South Bohemia".
Project for Development of Tourism in Havlíčkobrodsko

The first part of the thesis focused on the theoretical background. The process was a literature review that explains the economic importance of tourism, demand and supply in tourism, focusing on the issues of the project and explains destination management, regional development and craftsmanship. Further was made characteristic of craft and its history. The second part consists of a field survey and the project. Field survey consisted of structured interviews and questionnaires of visitors and artisans. The structured interviews and questionnaires helped to summarize an idea of how craft fairs should be properly organized and what is their reality. The actual project consists of manual organization of traditional craft fairs and its application to the crafts market which can be organized in Ždírec nad Doubravou as the town which wants to organize this event. The project is focused mainly on the financial page, promotion and accompanying program. It means those weaknesses, which were perceived in organizing craft fairs in the Havlíčkobrodsko.
Innovation of tourism for students on the Třebíč region and Jihlava region

The theme of my thesis was an innovation of a tourist product for students in the area of Třebíč and Jihlava. The main objective was to determine the preferences of students for organizing school trips, according to which should a product be designed, meeting the requirements of tourism for leisure time and to serve as an educational object as well.
