The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a family house interior for specific client. It is divided into two parts, the theoretical part presents the basic division of buildings for family housing, ergonomic knowledge, and technical conditions. It is also concerned with the interior and the functions of housing associated with. Thesis provides information of trends in housing, modern materials and also with the styles used in interior design. The practical part presents research according to client's requirements and visualization of interior and ground plan of the space. It also includes building documentation and the design of the built-in wardrobe with the technical drawings.

Návrh interiéru showroomu pro truhlářskou firmu

POLEHLOVÁ, Veronika. Interior design of a showroom for a carpenter company. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2020. The main aim of this work is to design the interior of a showroom for a small carpenter company. The introductory part of the work contains a brief study of small kitchen studios. It also summarizes the design requirements in terms of interior planned function and ergonomics. Further, the work deals with the analysis of elements that form the basis of the interior and the possibilities of their processing. The following part is devoted to the activities of a company Truhlářství Polehla, s.r.o. It summarizes the history of the company, its present, specifications of production, materials and components used in production. The main part of the work includes the design of the showroom itself and its adjoining room focusing on the design of a kitchen island. Drawing documentation, visualization and physical model of the island in a scale of 1: 5 form a part of this design.

Návrh profesionální kuchyně pro gastronomii

The diploma thesis deals with the interior design of professional kitchen of a specific gastronomic service. The first half of the work is based on literary search of professional publications from catering and hospitality area. There is described the meaning of the word gastronomy and services connected with it. For better overview and orientation in this area is there also necessary classification and categorization of device operating in this type of services. Most of the space is devoted to the chapter, which deals with the whole designing gastronomic operations and problematics connected with this, also with the search of interesting designs and material options. From this part is unfolded the design of the custom solution of professional kitchen. This project is processed as a floor plan and schematic vision of continuities of individual operating zones, a comparison of the current kitchen status included. The work also includes visualizations of the new kitchen space and conceptual design of whole restauration.

The main goal of this master thesis is to introduce environmental psychology and its application in the process of furniture and interior design. Environmental psychology is a significant field of applied psychology, which can provide useful information for designers and their work. The focus is mainly on means of perception of design components and features, such as shapes and colours, and its processing and interpretation. The thesis primarily describes theoretical studies, which can later serve as a philosophical principle for designer's creative proces, leading to creation of not only fully functional, but also psychologically pleasant design.

This bachelor´s thesis is focused on changing the entrepreneurial form of business in architecture and design into limited company form of business. The thesis is devided in three parts - teoretical part, analytical part and proposal part. There is devoted a separate chapter for each of them. There are embedded the basic teoretical notes in the thesis and it is the starting point for the description of the recent situation of the business and in the last part of the thesis, there is proposed the strategy and development of the entrepreneurial activity based on the data processed in the analytical part.

Rekonstrukce interiérů penzionu

The theme of the thesis is the interior reconstruction design of the rooms in the guesthouse Mezi stromy and the incorporation of an atypical furniture element – a modular hanger wall. The final design of the interior will meet the requirements for facilities of this type and will maintain the themes of the individual rooms, which are named after the four seasons of the year. The main focus will be on making the rooms overall more comfortable and to increase the guesthouse's number of guests by improving their comfort. The thesis also deals with themes in the field of accommodation facilities, adhering to principles and requirements in this area, as well as ergonomics. Information from these fields must be taken into consideration when furnishing a guesthouse. The outcome of this work is a new solution for the interior, including the already mentioned design of an atypical furniture element, along with drawings and visualizations.
