Influence of propan-2-ol on the structure of cytochrome c in acidic pH

: In my work I put one's mind to conformational changes of cytochrome c - it's denaturation and it's possible creating "molten - globule" like state. I investigated influence of propan - 2 - ol on conformation of cytochrome c in acidic pH. A part of this work is litteral recherche on the theme of cytochrome c : Cytochrome c is a mitochondrial periferal haemoprotein, which serves like electron transporter in respiratory chain. Also has a function in apoptosis. Its properties were examinated by spectrophotometric methods, such as absorption spectres and their's derivations. I focused on range of wavelenghts between 250 and 310 nm; then between 300 and 500 nm and finally between 450 and 650 nm.I measured buffers with soluted cytochrome c in 4 acidic pH - 1,90; 2,10; 2,30 and 2,60 - and examinated conformational changes causated by solvent ( propan - 2 - ol) perturbation up to 20 percent of volume. The biggest changes are during perturbation in 2,30 pH.. (In Czech)
