Požadavky na dříví douglasky při použití ve stavbách
Loskot, Vilém
Douglas fir is a tree of foreign origin, and is being introduced to czech forests. The goal of this bachelor thesis was to perform analysis of douglas wood for the use in wood buildings. This work contains analysis of wood products, which are used in wood buildings. Analysis of wood products is divided into 6 classes of wood quality. In the document is also described douglas fir and its properties. Wood of douglas fir is in Northern America considered to be one of the most versatile wood. Material is especially suitable for construction purposes of wood based buildings, making of windows, doors, outside terraces and boats.
Návrh modulového domu pro bydlení
Veškrňa, Adam
This bachelor thesis is a project of modular houses alternatives in a lower price category. The main thought of this thesis is an approach of modular building and kind of people to live in there. There are some variants of houses based on building analysis with extension option. For selected type of building are made a basic drawings with visualization and assessment in view of current building technical requirements.
Návrh dřevěného schodiště do dřevostavby
Bouzek, Štěpán
This bachelor thesis is focused on the selection of the suitable type of interior wooden staircase for the pre-defined area of two storey wooden house. In the introductory part, there is provided a comprehensive overview of wooden houses constructions systems. The frame construction system, which project documentation is part of the thesis, is used for the specific purpose of this thesis. The theoretical part also includes the types of staircases systems including the professional nomenclature. The chosen wooden staircase is subjected to the technical requirements of valid standards and subsequent production documentation. The output of the thesis is the project proposal of staircase supplemented with needed calculations of dimensions and sizes of individual components of chosen wooden staircase. The part of the thesis is final production documentation with financial calculation.

Wooden buildings using natural thermal and acoustic insulation
Ambrožová, Elena ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Solař,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
Dissertation deals with the technical parameters of natural thermal insulation. In addition, there is a global trend in the construction of reducing energy consumption for heating, air conditioning, or with operating facilities in buildings and the use of perspective and efficient building materials with a negligible negative impact on the environment. Therefore, the attention not only professionals are increasingly turning to alternative materials, such as natural insulation, the material can be drawn from local sources and whose production is energy-saving and leaving a small ecological footprint. As part of the doctoral thesis were tested short term water absorption, measurements were made of the thermal conductivity and its change after the test short term water absorption. Was determined dependence of thermal conductivity on humidity and heat resistance was determined. Moreover a natural insulation applications in building construction with a comparison of the various technical parameters and environmental footprint. At the conclusion was made by acoustic insulation in timber construction and price analysis.

Airtightness estimation of wood based residential houses using Blower-door test
Srba, Jaromír ; Böhm, Martin (advisor) ; Trgala, Kamil (referee)
This dissertation analyses airtightness of residential buildings which in many ways influences their energy performance and therefore also their costs of use. Properly conducted airtightening layer can significantly extend the lifespan of the construction. The main objective of the dissertation is to evaluate the construction of newly built buildings in the Czech Republic and to assess the most important parameters which affect airtightness. The Blower-door test was used to assess air leakage. This method belongs among the most widely used and conclusive methods of analysis. Its advantage is mainly the fact that it can detect construction defects of the airtightening layer in important stages of construction (and possibly enable these defects to be corrected before completion). The core of this method is to create a pressure difference of deltap 50 Pa between the exterior and the interior of the building and at the same time discover the faulty places which are different for positive and negative pressure. The air leakage was assessed in 345 residential buildings constructed between 2006 and 2016, especially in conventional wood frame buildings or with buildings made from wood panels such as cross-laminated timber. The development of values of air change rate through the building envelope was evaluated according to the Czech standard ČSN 73 0540-2 and the results were compared to previous outcomes of other authors. Analysis and photo documentation of the most frequently detected leakage points are also part of the dissertation. A significant decrease in values of the air change rate was discovered, on average by 40.49% in 2016 compared to 2006, while for passive houses the air change rate values were almost steady. For buildings with wood frame construction, it was the way of ventilation which was determined as the most significant parameter affecting air leakage. For wooden buildings with natural or combined ventilation, the average value of air change rate at the pressure difference of 50 Pa was 1,29 h-1, for buildings with mechanical ventilation and heat recovery it was 1,18 h-1 and for buildings with very low energy consumption for heating with mechanical ventilation and heat recovery it was 0,44 h-1. Other parameters affecting the values of air leakage include the construction company, the presence of a chimney, the place and method of construction of the wood frame construction.
