History of Education in Domažlice in 1945 - 1989

The diploma thesis deals with the historical development of education in Domažlice in the years 1945 to 1968. The work is divided into five chapters, which are connected one to the other. Initially, the work is focused on school legislation, which also had an impact on the development of the school system. Subsequently, a brief history of the city and its education from the Second World War to 1968 is outlined, it completes a general view of this topic. The next chapter deals mainly with the primary education, and i tis focused on selected schools. It describes the development of school buildings, the teaching staff, the pupils and their school teaching, and important events which have affected the life of the school in some way. The last part of the work is focused on extracurricular education, especially on the development of music school, which is also included in the school system.
Social - charity work connected with the birthplace of J.N.Neumann
PFEFFROVÁ, Petra
This work deals with social - charity activities in the birthplace of Johann Nepomuk Neumann maps this activity in the period from 1686 to 1975. Describes the social and charitable activities in this house, which performed the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St.. Charles Borromeo. Describes the life and social activities of Jan Nepomuk Neumann, especially in America. This work also deals with the appearance of the city Prachatice requested period and brings itself to the Congregation of Sisters of Mercy of St.. Charles Borromeo, along with Vojtěcha Hasmandová, the most significant nun of the Congregation in Prachatice. It also describes social activity from 1975 to the present, when he was in their house for a retirement home and the hospice in 2005.
