Zaplevelení porostů vojtěšky seté pěstované v konvenčním a ekologickém zemědělství
Kuthanová, Zuzana
In my diploma thesis I dealwith the evaluation of weeds of Medicago sativa in conventional and organicagriculture. The literary part focuses onMedicago sativa, itsimportance, influence on soil, cultivation technology, varieties and the most importantdiseases. The second part isdevoted to evaluation of field experiment in Medicago sativa in conventional and ecologicalway of farming. The analysiswascarriedout on the plots of Agrospol Hrádek plus, a cooperativedevoted to organicfarming and on the plots of the company Jan Zatloukal, whichisdevoted to conventionalagriculture. The numericalmethodusing a square meter template (size 1x1m) wasusedfor the evaluation. The evaluationrevealed the impact of the habitat on Medicago sativa weeds and differences in weed distribution in organic and conventionalfarming. Organic Medicago sativa was most commonlyfound in Capsellabursa-pastoris, Echinochloacrus-galli, Stellaria media and Amaranthus retroflexus. In Medicago sativa grownconventionally most commonlyfound Capsellabursa-pastoris,Tripleurospermum inodorum, Chenopodium strictum and Urtica dioica.
Přírodní zahrada - případová studie Jestřabice
Kroulová, Iveta
The thesis focused on the issue of natural gardens. Within the theoretical part, a literary review was carried out concerning natural gardens, the landscape of the Czech Republic and sustainability in agriculture. In the second part of the thesis, a case study of the natural garden in Jestřabice was carried out. Field investigation methods, comparison method, SWOT analysis and questionnaire survey method were used. The field investigation took place in 2019-2021 in Jestřabice. Based on the knowledge from the field survey, a concept of a natural garden suitable for the given conditions was proposed. Using a comparative method, agricultural practices used in conventional agriculture were compared with those used in the natural garden. Using SWOT analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of natural gardens, their opportunities and threats have been identified. The results of the SWOT analysis showed that strengths prevail here and an increase in opportunities in this area can be expected. The questionnaire survey confirmed that natural gardens are a topical topic. Respondents expressed their dissatisfaction with the current state of the landscape, the ways of management and the unsustainable management of natural resources. The results of the thesis confirm the growing interest in natural gardens and their contribution to sustainable agriculture.
Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
GRÁFOVÁ, Pavla
The aim of the thesis is to compare the economic efficiency of selected crops culti-vated in organic and conventional agriculture. The analysis of economic efficiency covers the period from 2019 to 2023 and focuses on winter wheat and spring oats. The thesis consists of two main parts, with one part being a literature review. Here, economic efficiency is characterized, along with the organic and conventional ag-ricultural systems. A brief description of the history of agriculture in the Czech Republic, various crop cultivation methods, and a concise list of agricultural sub-sidies are provided. The practical part deals with crop yields, individual operations in winter wheat and spring oats cultivation. Purchase prices of cultivated crops are displayed, followed by the calculation of the economic efficiency of both cultivation methods.

The use of humine preparations at the winter wheat
ŠVEC, Jakub
The diploma thesis deals with the use of humic preparations in winter wheat (Tri-ticum aestivum). The experiment was based on a family farm with two varieties of winter wheat. These were varieties from the Lima Grain company. The varieties were LG Mocca and LG Magirus. In the experiment, 3 different dosage variants of Blackjak were compared against the control variant. The dose of the product was graduated in half a liter per hectare, i.e. variant No. 1: 0.5 l*ha-1, No. 2: 1 l*ha-1, No. 3: 1.5 l*ha-1. In the case of the LG Mocca variety, there was an increase in profits in all variants, from which it can be concluded that even the application of 0.5 l*ha-1 is advantageous. However, the highest increase in profits was for variant No. 3, where the increase in profits was CZK 3,087. For the LG Magirus variety, these results were not so clear. Variant No. 1, where 0.5 l*ha-1 was applied, came out with a lower profit than the control variant. The highest increase in profits was for variant No. 3, where the increase was CZK 1,554.
Comparison of selected qualitative indicators of food products in stores in the Czech Republic
JINDROVÁ, Alice
The aim of this diploma work is based on theresearch to find out according to which criteria people buy meat and meat products, how much money they spend on average and whether they prefer conventional meat products or organic meat products.
Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
PICKA, Adam
This bachelor's thesis deals with an overview of the economic efficiency of growing field crops (winter wheat and winter barley) in an agricultural enterprise in the district of Jindřichův Hradec. Both crops are solved from the economic point of view of cultivation in both organic and conventional farming systems. The costs of growing plants, yield and average price production are calculated from the management procedures of the company, and then the economic efficiency of growing the crops is evaluated. The result is then compared with that of an organic farm that grows crops in comparable habitat conditions as a conventional farm. The difference between inputs and outputs in individual types of management is calculated and subsequently the results of the given management systems are evaluated.
Biology, occurrence and regulation of weeds in organic and conventional agriculture
ŠVEC, Jakub
The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of weed control in cereals, especially in common wheat (Triticum sp.). It focuses on the issue of weeds and their control by herbicides in the conventional system of farming and organic farming using mechanical means.
ILCA for selected cereal species
PANUŠKOVÁ, Šárka
The aim of this work was to identify and evaluate the environmental burden that arises during the cultivation of wheat and rye. The categories of agrotechnical operations, field emissions, fertilizers and pesticides were compared. The subsequent goal was to compare the resulting environmental burden between conventional and organic farming.
Příčiny nízkých výnosů obilovin v ekologickém systému pěstování
KOTAŠKA, Vladimír
The aim of this diploma thesis was to find out the causes of low returns on chosen cereals (oat, wheat, rye, and spelled) in ecological agriculture based on evaluating information on growing procedures obtained via the method of questionnaires. Gradually, 21 ecologically farming companies controlled by the Abcert AB a Biokont CZ, s.r.o. organizations were chosen. Based on the analysis of growing procedures, the most frequent mistakes made by farmers were identified. Companies with lower returns apply mainly an inappropriate structure of crops grown, a high representation of cereals, and they do not respect crop rotation principles. Especially in favourble conditions, some farms are run without livestock production. Leguminosae representation is low in most companies, intercrops are used very seldom. In case of straw plow, the C:N ratio is not maintained using manure. Mineral manure is not used at all, liming very seldom. Vegetation is usually not fertilized during vegetation period. Cereal weed regulation is carried out, but not sufficiently. Using farm seed is quite frequent, which increases the growth of weed. Comparing returns on cereal among better and worse companies, it is obvious that respecting given principles may increase return on seed in 1.0 to 1.9 t/ha.
