Risk analysis of siphon pipes
Outratová, Markéta ; Svoboda, Miroslav (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The master’s thesis discusses siphon pipes that are used to collect groundwater. The goal of work is to define the most frequent undesired events that may appear on siphon pipes, and verifying the individual springs. The work is addressed in accordance with the metodology of risk analysis WaterRisk. The content of the work is a summary of the hydraulic of siphon pipes and their use in practice, hazard identification, defining the most frequent undesired events and consequences on siphon pipes, and their verification in the spring in a particular case study.
Risk analysis and evaluation of sources of public water supply
Novotná, Aneta ; Bednářová, Bronislava (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the identification, quantification and assessment of risks in the supply of drinking water, the application of appropriate methods for specific public water supply, the environment and operation. WaterRisk method based on EN 31010 Risk Management - Techniques of risk assessment methods are chosen - analysis of possible defects and their consequences (FMEA), Pareto diagram and Ishikawa diagram. The aim of the thesis is analyze and assess the quality, environmental and safety risks to the public water supply system and use tools for their management and elimination. The results will be compared and evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of each analysis.
Risk analysis of the Hradek water supply system
Hofmannová, Lenka ; Svoboda,, Miroslav (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on risk analysis of water supply system in a small community. The WaterRisk project was solved by using tools of risk management including risk identification and quantification in the field of public water supply systems. Methodology and software for the risk management of water supply were evolved by using this project. In this thesis there is applied the methodology to the water supply system of Hradek village. The hydraulic analysis was performed for a thorough knowledge of water supply and its characteristic behavior. Risk analysis could be performed thanks to the knowledge of the entire system, its working and the most common faults. Analysis results are evaluated and compared for the water supply system which is consider like a system simple and complex. The corrective actions eliminate number of risks. These actions were proposed like a part of complex methodology. Further, there were determined optimal costs which corresponds with these corrective actions.
Risk assessment design margin of process and power equipment
Horsák, Jan ; Pačíska, Tomáš (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work is devoted to description of methodology of determining process and power equipment design margins, which is based on assessment of a relative process importance of the equipment in question. The methodology is theoretically analysed, brought into context of common design practice and demonstrated on actual cases. Substantial part of this work analyses heat transfer in general as a base of heat exchanger design process.

Lexical Expression of Cause and Result Relations in the Present-day French
LIDINSKÁ, Kateřina
The aim of this thesis is the identification and evaluation lexical expression of causal and consequential relations in the present-day French. After a theoretical introduction in which the most important terms necessary for this work will be presented, we will focus on the Czech conception of discourse relations. Based on this conception, a list of French lexical expressions of cause and consequence will be assembled. These expressions will be then searched in two corpora ? frWac and Frantext. In the practical part of this piece of writing, the given lexical expressions will be analysed with respect to their structure, position and use in a sentence and in the text. The frequency of their occurrence in both corpora will be also taken in account.
