Swim Smooth System and Swimming Specialization

Title: Swim Smooth System and Swimming Specialization Objectives: Along with The Australian Swim Smooth Swim Type Coaching System criteria assign particular swim types to natural predispositions of selected elite swimmers and thus confirm suitability of their specialization. Methods: This work was carried out as a methodological study that explores both the suitability of specialization in a selected group of elite swimmers and the potential benefits of the Swim Smooth Swim Type System compared to the more commonly used method of one swim type. The study involved measuring, displaying, monitoring, evaluation, analysis and correlation. We measured the stroke length and stroke rate. We observed individual style of freestyle technique. We evaluated the Swim Types, somatotype, personality traits of extroversion and swimmers' potential to either speed, middle distance or endurance performance. We performed analysis of the development of swimmers' personal records in their main discipline. We determined the degree of correlation among particular Swim Type criteria that determine Swim Smooth swim types. The success of swimming clubs of the Czech Republic in the youth category

Title The success of swimming clubs of the Czech Republic in the youth category Objectives The goal is to find out the success rate of swimming clubs on summer CZ championships in youth category during the past years. To compare if only the same clubs were in final heats or there were significant participation of individual clubs. Methods It is a historical comparative research conducted by comparing data over a longer time period in more places. Summary of data was carried out in a way that the analysis method was used for the data classification and the synthesis method was used for the result summary of data. Results By comparing the number of representatives from each of the clubs in the final heats in selected periods and specifically in 1979, 1989, 1999, 2009 and 2013 in selected age group of adolescents was found based on summary of the results that there are here the most successful clubs: Comet Brno, Swimming sport club Ostrava and Bohemians Praha. Title: The effect of training program on the selected parameters of the body composition of a competitive swimmer in 50 m breastroke. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out if swimming and weight training program influence selected physical parameters and performance in 50 m breastroke during winter season 2014. Methods: The data of this case study were obtained by measuring devices Tanita and bodystat BIA 2000. For measuring of muscular proportions was used tape measure. The data were processed by graphic and numeric analysis. Results: The thesis proved the possibility that body composition is influenced by training program.
