Financial analysis of Pacovske strojirny a.s.

The task of my work is to analyse financial situation in company Pacovske strojirny a.s. Financial analysis has been done according to well-known methods which should not miss in any work of this type. First of all ratio indicators analysis is performed (profitability ratioes, liquidity ratioes, insolvency ratioes and other what could be included to this group) followed by percentual analysis of main account sheet (such as ballance sheet, cash flow statement, income statement). In next part four basic balance sheet rules can be found, then working capital analysis and calculation of its need in company using value of the turning cycle of money. Also the calculation of EVA indicator and performance Du Pont analysis of ROE are added. In conclusion all values are compared with numbers that are typical for the same industrial branch where analysed firm belongs supplemented with overall evaluation and explanation why their development is so positive or negative.

The financial analysis of MADETA, a. s.

The main point of this bachelor's work is to analyze the financial situation of MADETA company in years 2003 - 2007. The financial analysis were focused on gathering the information fot potential investors into company assets. The thesis consists of two connected parts: methodological and practical. The first part defines financial analysis issue, specifies subjects and goals, describes the basic steps any financial analyst should do. In addition, there are explained fundamental terms and methods of a financial analysis. The practical part is based on the concrete calculations and answers. At first the basic information concerning MADETA is inroduced: its main activities and organization structure. Then the theoretical concepts explained at the methodological part were applied in MADETA's case. In conclusion, I summarized important points of the conducted financial analysis, evaluated the company's financial situation and suggested the recommendations for the company.
