This master’s thesis deals with exploring present conditions in Maloměřice-Brno during floods which is followed by design of antiflood protective structures. Research uses coupled 1D/2D numerical model for flood discharges Q1, Q5, Q20 and Q100 computing. In the last step maps of hazard and draw documentation were made.

This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the assessment and design of flood control measures in the area of Dolní loučky. It uses a combined 1D and 2D numerical model of water flow to perform hydraulic calculations of flood flows passing interest location. Several variants of the calculations for different size heads of n-year floods. Hydraulic calculations were made for water flow Bobrůvka, Libochůvky and Loucky. The results are processed in the form of inundation maps and longitudinal profiles of these flows.
