Air conditioning of the cinema
Kučírek, Pavel ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is design of three air conditioner units for cinema with technical utility rooms, base for workers and gallery. The devices are designed to meet the operating, hygienic and functional requirements for internal microclimate. The main role of air conditioning devices is air supplying for visitors in sufficient amount, eliminating thermal loads in summer, covering thermal losses and humidification during winter. The theoretical part is focused on internal microclimate.
Heating and Ventilation of Industrial Buildings
Ležovič, Tomáš ; Lízal, František (referee) ; Krejčí, Vladimír (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis is concerned with ways of adaptation of interior surroundings in industrial buildings, first and foremost in respect of demands in operation and attainable comfort on workplace. As an introduction, author targets the concepts that bear relation to interior microclimate and characterization of industrial buildings, which should help to get better orientation in existent dilemma. Next part of the thesis contains a compendium of the basic heating and aerating systems in industrial buildings involving both their preferencies and deficiencies. In conclusion, there is accomplished the general evaluation of the aforesaid systems and the comparison of the radiant and the air heating method of heating.
Airconditioning of the exhibition space
Dokládalová, Tereza ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The point of this bachelor thesis is to design two air-conditioning units specifically made for assigned facility with exhibition purposes - archeopark. The units are designed in a way to accomplish operational, functional and hygienical requierements of indoor microclimate. The purpose of these units is to ventilate, cover the heat loss, elimination of heat load, humidification and dehumidification of air. Teoretical part of this thesis deals with indoor microclimate and its influence on a quality of life and also covers terms such as SBS, BRI, PMV and PPD.
Airconditioning of autopsy
Matula, Luděk ; Ell, Jiří (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is comprised of three parts. Theoretical, computational and design. Theoretical part is focused on filtration problems of poluted air. Computational and design parts deal with proposition of three air handling units for autopsy. Devices are designed for autopsy halls, educational autopsy and background for autopsy premises. Proposition is projected according to hygienical, operational and functional requirements. The result of the bachelor thesis is realization project, which deals with issues in medical facillity.
UN Security Council and Environmental Threats
Škop, Martin ; Bruner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Karlas, Jan (referee)
This thesis examines the securitization of climate change within the UN Security Council. The aim of the thesis was to answer the question of how the permanent members of the Council securitise or desecuritise climate threats, or what characterises their speech act. The assessment was based on a content analysis that coded all the statements made by the permanent members of the Council in the general discussion on climate change and its security implications. The thesis thus provides an overview of the specific elements that fulfill the securitization move and emergency measures as well as other elements that are typical for the actors. The thesis compares these with the assumptions arising from the Copenhagen School theory of securitization and interprets their consistency or inconsistency. In addition, the concept of "climatisation" is used, which allows for a different, often more useful perspective on the topic. From the perspective of this concept, it has been confirmed that many actors are characterized by attempts to integrate climate policies and objectives into various security spheres such as UN missions, development policy or conflict prevention policy. The content analysis to all the above conclusions allows to provide a body of evidence, which is an annex to the present thesis,...

Mikroklima interiéru budov
Holopírková, Lucie
One of the main priorities of our society is to constantly increase the quality of life. Part of new trends and technology is the optimizing of all factors affecting every individual in buildings functioning as homes, and working environments. During the creation of the architectural design for a building, we can greatly influence the microclimate of the building by suitably selecting material surfaces, using different ventilation systems and selecting structures that can affect the Earth’s natural electromagnetic field. Ionic microclimate may be an indicator of a healthy environment and has a major impact on human health and psychological well-being.
